That's a new one for me

I had a 9 fold on last night 8 football games and solis to win rounds 8-12 or on points. All 8 football games came in, solis could have easily won that but he's just so fornicating lazy he only fought 30 seconds a round.

I also had another 8 fold on and bolton let me down by drawing instead of wining - it was one of those "so close" weekends

I read on CS that it was IJL who had Solis winning 116-112,anyone know if thats true :??

When he throws you can see he has ability his foot movement, punch diversity and hand speed are impressive. He's just a lazy slob, if he was in shape he could be decent, i do wonder about his chin aswell.

People make a big deal out of him beating haye in the ams but he was was badly hurt in the 1st round and given an 8 count and time to recover if it had been pro fight haye would have finished him off there and then. I would be interested in haye v thompson if haye makes a comeback would be a very good gauge of just how good haye is compared to the fringe contenders.

Im aware, theres a good chance he only made it past the first round because standing 8 counts are allowed.

Really pleased for TT.....he's having a great Indian Summer to his career.

Not sure where that leaves Solis and I am not entirely bothered either; strange to have all that talent and overall ability and not to give the business a proper whirl.

Thompson's 'Indian summer' is proof of just how dire the heavyweight division is right now. I respect the guy a lot. He plods around the ring like an ageing tonberry, lethargically pushing out a jab now and then, and inexplicably keeps on winning. Even in defeat to Pulev he exposed another guy reckoned, by some, to be a serious threat to Wladimir.

Plodder, fairly well schooled with a decent chin and a decnt dig, who always came up short against the top level amateurs during his time in the unpaid code.

Thing is, its such a weak era that Pulev is probably Wlad's biggest threat. That doesn't make him an actual threat though. I think Wlad beats him easy.

Pulev lost in the ams every time he faced Solis and Camarelle etc.

In the pros he has a feeble KO% and was floored by Joey Abell in his last fight :(

Thompson took Pulev to school for the first 4 or 5 rounds and only lost because he gassed to the man 12 years his junior. Thompson was never in serious trouble vs Pulev, even once.

Compare that to Wlad KOing Thompson in their second fight in Round 6 after putting him on the floor a couple of times.

Trust me, Pulev poses no problem to Klitschko whatsoever.

Pulev is a one-dimensional, one-paced plodder with only average power. He's in shape and comes to fight but he just doesn't have the tools to bother Wlad.
