Someone on the betting thread said that there were rumours Froch had been dropped a couple of times in sparring; any info please?

Natasha Jonas sparked him and then Andrew Selby did the day after.

But obviously keep that to yourself mate.

How much does Matchroom earn? Would be a good indication to see how bug the fight is in terms of revenue, considering Mayweather earns about 71million dollars a fight

i don't think floyd gets that a fight ,he's down as earning $34,000,000 last year about £20,000,000 with forbes magazine

That's just his guarantee, before he takes his cut of any of the PPV money, I don't know how much that is, but the Alvarez fight did 2.2m PPV's in the US alone, at $70 each, that's at least $150m in PPV revenue, along with the worldwide rights, it's quite possible that he made $100m plus from the Alvarez fight.

A Great British punch up!

I'm not a fan of either Froch or Groves however reading all the read ups on here, watching the press conferences and the weigh in I'm quite actually excited about the fight tonight. You can't beat a good old fashioned all British punch up! Its not just titles its honor and turf.

While I see the fight starting fast and I expect Groves to come out like a bull at a gate, similar to the first Clubber Lang fight in Rocky 3 I just feel Froch has Grove's number. I just have this feeling that Groves will be ahead in the fight and get chinned. If the fights goes 12 I can see an unexpected result, draw or Froch win when everyone sees Groves ahead on the cards. I just feel that the ending is not going to be quite as straight forward as expected. I honestly can see a sting in the tail that will have us all talking about tonight and all day tomorrow and for the rest of the week.

At the end of the day for the 80 thou going you are going to get a great night of boxing, in and out of the ring, and Wembley. For me its 2 16 inch pizzas a few nibbles and a few cans with my son and some of his mates watching it on PPV on my 48 inch flat screen in HD. A few friendly bets and a real fun night.

Not felt excited like this since Bruno v McCall.

Have a great night y'all!

Not unless he's being paid. I suspect he'll have got a media gig - maybe 5 Live.

There was an interview in boxing news this week and Groves said that he and booth had been able to remain friends, he seems happy with paddy and trusts him, another voice in the corner can be a confusing thing.

You think the possibility of booth appearing in groves corner is worth talking about. If you had any brain cells you'd realise no
