Yep, should have been aloud to continue.
They should have quietly let it go on

Jim Watt did well. He had the same score card as all three judges.

It's Bermane Stiverne
8) is it?! Well spotted. I thought he was bald.

I have shitloads of beer left, mate. Pop over.
I live next door to a pub. I have been known to nip next door, buy a pint and 90 seconds later be drinking the same pint in my living room.

To be fair and I agree when there's so little time left we say they should be given that minute in between round to recover but ref are told not to consider that

On second consideration the stoppage maybe was at the right time. The guy was falling to the side on the count of eight.

I saw it the same way, there was a good argument for stopping him before the first knockdown when he was staggering round the ring with his hands down.

James DeGale next. He's tied with Ronnie O'Sullivan as the person in sport who annoys me the most.

Let's not forget he's the only star from the 70's not to be tried for sexual abuse.

Let's hope so. It should line up a domestic showdown with the winner of Froch/Groves...
But I wonder if both organisations will sanction it for their titles.

DeGale has this fight in the bag. I can see him KOing or TKOing this guy.

I like the Septic's body work but I worry about his punch resistance.
If DeGale bites down hard here I think he could take him out. I don't think he'll enjoy going in deep waters with this fella.

That was pretty awesome by Degale to get the knockdown, just blasted him from all angles.
Way too early a stoppage though. fornicating hell.
