If there was no real scope for a NC, with which I agree, there was no real scope to "mandate" a non-mandatory rematch! It's nonsensical. I think it could prove quite important...Froch's negotiating power with only a regular belt in hand is surely going to be diminished in what are already likely to be tough negotiations with HBO
HBO might not mind a real belt being on the line but you can be damn sure Chavez Jr would be demanding a bigger piece of the pie
