There was no real scope for a NC ruling. HBO won't mind as long as there's something to pin the fight on.
If there was no real scope for a NC, with which I agree, there was no real scope to "mandate" a non-mandatory rematch! It's nonsensical. If Froch was allowed x months in between mandatories after the first fight, how on earth can that period of grace not take into account a fight that they "mandated" him to take?

HBO might not mind a real belt being on the line but you can be damn sure Chavez Jr would be demanding a bigger piece of the pie
