Agreed. I thought he looked good on the inside and didn't look as awkward and lazy as you might expect in the clinch..... That said, Skelton looked every bit the old man we expected him to be going in to this one.

Now, I believe every word NIck Halling tells me, so I'm expecting a 50/50 fight here because this Dos Santos character sounds like a world beater. Certainly not a fighter whose feasted on duffers back in Brazil.

Joshua looked passable in round 1, Skelton looked old. 2nd round Joshua caught Skelton with a right high on the head, then followed up with another right, put him down on the ropes. Landed a couple more on resumption, fight stopped. Not much else to report tbh.

Dos Santos will stay defensive all 12 rounds. Good luck stopping him.

First few rounds were Bellew outworking Dos Santos, who fought passively but would occasionally land a good right hand. Then in the 5th they threw left hooks at the same time, Bellew's got there first, and Dos Santos went down hard. He got back up but was unsteady and the ref called it.

Great left hook from Bellew, ending a left, right, left hook combo (whilst Dos Santos was throwing a left). Dos Santos got up at 8, but his legs were shot. Fight stopped, then Bellew & cleverly went at it over the ropes.

Bellew wanted to get the rounds in..
