Brook often hardly moves his head at all, could be vulnerable to Porter's lunging punches if he doesn't mend this tonight.

Thought about this all week and its just come to me.

Really want kell brook to do this, but couldnt stop myself betting on porter to stop him within the distance.

Now i have bet on porter to stop brook its an almost cast iron guarantee that kell brook is going to school porter

People talk of Brook's punching power but him knocking out Porter seems very unlikely to me. Perhaps Brook can win a decision but to do that he's gonna be dealing with unrelenting pressure all night. I just cant see Brook keeping Porter from getting on the inside. I dont think he's good enough to prevent that. Porter is a bull in a china shop. Devon Alexander is a very skilled boxer/mover and Porter just walked through him and bullied him all night. I dont believe Brook is better than Alexander.

And that could be a problem in this fight. Do not stand in front of Porter.

I just think brook has alot working against him, hes the underdog, hes away from home and out his comfort zone, I was worried when he was tagged against schentchenko or however its spelt, I heard the fights outside in a humid heat, porter seems to have a good dig on his hooks, I just see kell getting overwhelmed and crumbling under the pressure, I am really looking forward to this because although I have my opinions I wouldnt be suprised to see either guy win by pts or stoppag.

Yea, brook didnt impress me when he was against the ropes vs carsonjones, if he gets complacent like that tonight hes fucked.

I believe Brook to be a very solid fighter.

I just think Porter is a bit special and will only lose to the very very very top level.

I don't know why the Ref is continually warning Brook about all the holding he's doing but not taking a point, it's obvious that Kell doesn't know how to fight on the inside.

Right decision, 117 card was wide though. Close fight but from the 8th Brook took over.

How did the showtime commentators have it?

I have to take my hat off to Brook, he did it with the cleaner shots but I still thought he was holding too much especially in the first 7 rounds or so.

There was a bit holding but Porter has using his head a fair bit as well

Brook out boxed Porter. Great jab and counters kept Porter outside. I think it was over in the 10th... the last 2 rounds were unnecessary, Porter didn't have an answer.

Porter is wildly overrated by some guys on here.
Skill wise he's not world class, makes up for a lot with sheer aggression but I saw absolutely nothing from him that justifies him holding a legitimate world title.

I think he did a good job on Alexander; certainly on par with Bradley's victory.

But the Malignaggi win made him look better than he really is.

The fact is his agression was innefective yesterday, coupled with blatant behind the head shots.
And he knew he lost.
But it beggars belief how sore loser he appeared in the post fight interview; Brook came out nearly unscathed, while Shawn had a pizza face.
