was it 6 months? When it was announced they did say it was so far away because of the world cup, it meant that the camps would end in the middle of it other wise.

peter fury has said they are looking into various option and will let people know as soon as they know what is going on. Which is much better than the allegedly release which just says the nights still on but without a main event and is now just lots of people you've heard of fighting people you have never heard of.

Audley actually hasnt tweeted anything since saturday, i wonder if he's had the call up and thats why he's keeping quiet. He wouldnt need a work visa. There has to be two names fighting each other otherwise there isnt a main event imo.

BJS as main event is laughable. I really feel for the fans who have shelled out for this fight. Hope it's a genuine injury.

I don't know why people are upset about the fact. Back in the old days a replacement would have been found by now, not saying it would be a British fighter but there were lots of guys like Everett Bigfoot Martin who would jump for the chance to get a pay day.

The problem you have Fury won't want to lose his '0' so finding a replacement that an audience would be happy with is practically zero. I would say get Harrison, offer him a decent packet, and the British title should at least be an incentive.

Looking further Anthony Joshua would be a decent opponent but I would not imagine Joshua would just fight at a weeks notice, why would he risk his career?

There will be plenty of Eastern European boxers but Fury would not fight because of his '0' Get Danny Williams on the phone, now there is a certainty

Surely they should pay someone a few grand to act as understudy for either fighter in cases like these . That seems to me the only way to go as big fights being cancelled is bad for boxing, obviously the understudy would get more if he actually fought.

This promoter does not like giving them, he puts "a night of championship boxing" on the tickets, and even if the whole show goes down the pan, providing some crappy inter-continental belt is up for grabs, he is delivering what it says on the ticket. He never, ever puts "A vs B" on the ticket. Looking at his press release yesterday, I think refunds are under consideration, he said he was in talks with the ticket selling outlets and there would be an announcement today. If he is aiming to reschedule Fury vs Chisora for the autumn, hopefully he will allow folk who've bought tickets for Saturday's show to attend the rescheduled bout.

Gutted about this. still, you can`t fight with a broken/fractured hand.

The Americans that were broadcasting the show have just pulled out as well (AWE) they did say they will show the fight if/when it gets a new date, presumably that has to be a wedge of money off the show as well, I was of the view that they would get someone in for Tyson to fight but everyone offered it will want a premium now and try to play hard ball on the purse I guess.

I cannot imagine ticket sales being great for the rescheduled show, it would involve another "stacked" undercard to tempt the fans, and a lot of fans must be getting a bit sick and tired of buying tickets for shows that get cancelled.

Perhaps there is now space on this show for Joe Murray ?

There's usually a disclaimer on tickets stating "all bouts subject to change" which removes any liability for refunds etc.

I'm not sure when this happened, but in the WBO's latest rankings, Derrick is the number one contender. Presumably he doesn't need to even fight Fury "for the right" to challenge Wlad.

Like everyone else I really want to see Chisora / Fury 2, but its a bit strange when you consider Derrick is already the top contender. He doesn't need the fight. Fury does - in terms of becoming a mandatory challenger.

What is Derrick gaining from the fight ? Because, when he loses to Fury, and has forfeit his top ranking with the WBO, he might wonder if this was the best option for him ?

The tickets clearly state chisora v fury 2 on them you can't expect people to go to watch an entire night of completely one sided fights against opponents we've never heard of even baldarama is a no name.

Fair enough. Normally the main event is not stated on the tickets, but if it is on this occasion its not fair to deny refunds.
