Asking looks tired after that.
Last few rounds will be the best I think Ovil and his team clearly know they are behind.

Is Marcus McDonnell carrying a small invincible baby?

Askin isn't letting up on the holding at all, he's just hoping the ref doesn't have the balls to DQ him.

Just as I was complaining, we get a high action round.

I really hope Ovill gets this decision as he at least tried to put on a boxing match for the fans. Askin should have been DQ'd; he did more than enough holding and wrestling to deserve it. It's not much of a fair fight if one guy gets to constantly break the rules despite repeated warnings.

Askin barely did anything in the last third of the fight.

I agree, and I don't think he was as dominant in the first half as the commentary suggested.

Askin boxes like Wladimir Klitschko.... But without the power or the timing.. :-)

I heard 116-109, which is still too wide.

I thought 119-116 !?
Would need 1-0 to Ovill with 11 drawn !

I highly doubt the card was 119-116.

Ovil had a point took off, so effectively would mean he didnt lose a round, but im fairly sure thats what i also heard 119-116

Not a bad tussle that,I had it 113-112 McKenzie,
Askin boxed well but got the balance wrong in some of the rounds when it came to spoiling and fighting,he'll be feeling like he let it get away but great perseverance from Ovill to claw it back
Matty should have been DQ if I'm honest but the ref let him away with it all night yet was quick to pull up McKenzie, it spoiled the fight
PS-WTF was going on with the scores? Does Mark Burdess not know what MD is and one of the scores was clearly wrong

I've just edited my post as I thought id gone effin mad
Glad I'm not the only one.
Askins holding was bad as was ovills punching behind the head.the referee needed telling by McKenzie's corner about the holding before he started doing something.I wouldn't disagree with a round either way but f knows what the actual scores are?

Bad job by Marcus McDonnell in general, Orvil seemed to be fighting two guys in there.... shame because I rate McDonnell as a ref. Everytime Orvil seemed to get Askin going, McDonnell would call break and give an extended talk to both fighters.
Thought the right guy won, Orvil wanted it that little bit more.
Why were the McKenzie camp asking for a rematch, they've got through that bannana skin - and it wasn't that dodgy that we need an instant rematch....hope he gets the world title shot.

McKenzie should of started quicker but thank f k he turned it round. I was doing my nut screaming at the ref. Henry akiwande got DQ d for holding so why not askin ? Cheeky ref gives ovil a point off for rabbit punching w.t.f did the ref not deduct for holding and my opinion he was also using his head too much - askin. And why the hell would ovill s trainer want to give askin a rematch. Ovil crack on mate avoid. Also loved.the in round commentary by ovills corner geeing him up and allegedly allowing the " encouring " words live good on them !

The punches that landed on the back of Askin's head were mainly due to him putting his head down on McKenzie for a cuddle

Was also good to see McKenzie have a good second half of the fight for a change
