I feel kind of bad for Izu, Pati seems like a great guy but he's not who an 11-0 prospect should be fighting! Then Quarrie in August is another guy with a losing record. KB should be using his contacts to get him fights on Vegas under cards or he will soon be sick of playing JPs understudy

Quarrie doesn't have a losing record.

My mistake (5-3), I got confused because he's lost 3 out of his last 4.

Regardless, he's still not the type of guy Izu should be fighting as an 11-0 prospect

you say an 11-0 prospect but in 5 years hes fought a load of unknowns in Poland and 2 journeyman in NZ. If he was to say fight Hemi Ahio who has only had 5 fights he would start an underdog (in my opinion). Junior Pati and Will Quarrie are fine as opponents, I'm not sure he has the funding behind him of Joseph Parker.

Maybe so, but in terms of skill level, how do you think Junior Pati or Will Quarrie would go sparring against Klitschko?

Because Wlad kicked out half his sparring partners who weren't good enough and Izu kept his place throughout, so he is clearly world class. He doesn't have Duco funding, no, but he does have Kevin Barry and is based in the boxing mecca of Vegas.

I just think he deserves better if he's going to reach his potential.

Also, for the record, I really like Hemi but I think Izu would beat his on points.

Being a regular sparring partner for Wlad does not make you world class, ask Chauncy Welliver or Sherman Williams. Wlad cuddles his way through fights, I'm sure sparring is a cuddle fest. I hope Izu does well over here, he looks like he takes great care of himself and he has good pedigree. Do you think they should bring over some similar opponents as they do for Parker?

Not the same as they do for Parker, but I do think they should be bringing Aussies over like Lawrence Tuasa, Michael Kirby, Hunter Sam etc.

Really though, he should be fighting up in Vegas too instead of just playing second fiddle in regional NZ, a place where he is for the most part gaining nothing

I see the brown buttabean is down to fight Richard Tutaki,
More chance of fatty cutting his daily servings of kfc down to 1 bucket per visit than actually fighting a real professional boxer. Coward.

I think you mis-understood me, I'm saying there's no way fat boy circus act steps into the ring with the Tutaki express, he's to scared to fight a real boxer. Where did you get this info from?

Say no more, just trying to build up the clown and make money. The people who follow fat boy won't mind buying there tickets only to find out that inevitably the fraud ends up fighting some hapless guy who made a 5 minute video shouting obscenities whilst his belly jigs about. I certainly won't be attending and wasting my money, be interesting to know if there's anybody who knows anything about boxing in the ABA that night. What a sad state of affairs for NZ boxing, makes me so angry.
