I always fancied Mayweather too, I just thought Pac had more fight in him back then. Another fight lost to time.

Mayweather was also younger and fresher in 2010, and I'm sure we all remember what killed the fight initially - Random testing. That may have taken the fight out of Pac more than most think. You just don't walk away from that kind of money over a blood test, and we all know he isn't afraid of needles. I guess we will never know for sure.

Mayweather is a ATG you can't begrudge him that......... BUT IT'S LIKE TYSON SAID THE PEOPLE NEED TO EXCEPT YOU ALI DID DO A LOT OF SELF PROMOTION AND BRAGGING YOU KNOW ''Í'M THE GREATEST'' THE DIFFERENCE ALI WAS THE PEOPLE'S CHAMPION HE NEVER CALLED HIMSELF THE BEST P4P FIGHTER TO EVER LIVE......................If Floyd beat some of his most dangerous opponent's when they were actually in their PEAK/PRIME
not 2/3 year's past it[pacman/mosley] than he would be accepted by the PEOPLE IN A MUCH BIGGER WAY AS A ATG
anyway i'm a boxing fan and if their is one fight that would make ALL THE PEOPLE TAKE THEIR HAT'S OFF AND :salut: OR  TO FLOYD
IT WOULD BE AGAINST GGG AFTER THIS FIGHT MOST OF THE PEOPLE THAT DOUBTED HIS ATG LEGACY WOULD HAVE TO AGREE HE HIS A LEGEND :TU:
FOR THE RECORD IT'S MY OPINION THAT FLOYD GREATEST ASSET HIS D [DEFENCE] AND GGG LACK OF D WOULD BE THE DECIDING FACTOR IN THIS FIGHT NOT GGG POWER........... BECAUSE LIKE ALI SAID I FIX IT SO THEY CAN'T FIND NOTHING TO HIT SAME AS TBE. :box:

HOW MANY TITLE'S YOU WIN TODAY OR HOW MANY PAST/FUTURE WORLD CHAMPION'S YOU BEAT SHOULD'T DEFINE SOME-ONE'S CAREER
BECAUSE NOW WE HAVE THE WBC/WBA/WBO/IBF AND DEPENDING ON WHO YOU TALK TO OR WHAT PART OF THE WORLD YOU LIVE THE IBO
WILL BE INCLUDED ALSO...... SHIT SUGAR RAY ROBINSON WOULD HAVE WON A VERSION OF THE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE HOW MUCH MONEY
WOULD HE HAVE MADE :?? BEATING A DECENT FIGHTER LIKE BERTO WON'T HELP HIS LEGACY BECAUSE HE WAS A MUCH MORE DAGEROUS OPPONENT 2 OR MORE YEAR'S AGO IT'S REALLY A SAD FIGHT TO END ON.. IF HE WANTED TO HE COULD MAKE ATLEAST 100 MILLION IN A REMATCH WITH PACMAN
AND ABOUT THE SAME OR MORE WITH THE GGG FIGHT.....................THIS WOULD TRULY CEMENT HIS LEGACY THE TBE TAG MIGHT FIT THEN.

i think the fight that happened is only partially an
indication of what would happen if manny was fit
or ten years younger. floyd does as much as he has
to, hardly ever anything more. it could be that he
had been able to control a prime manny. the fight
being close (it was at least for me) is no real indication
that he couldn't.

i was stunned in the very beginning how early floyd
could counter. he was reading manny so well in this
round, it was terrible for me to watch, cause i wanted
manny to win and saw him outclassed in the early
going. floyd of course did that intentionally, probably
took quite some risk by countering that early and only
did it until he found he had done enough discouraging
to avoid quick, sprint-like assaults. but i had no doubt
in my mind that he could do these counters again
whenever needed.

i am a manny fan, but i think this first round showed
that the superior boxer is floyd.
