1) Klitschko is rarely in entertaining fights
2) Everybody already knows who is going to win
Live a little yer miserable shite!

No I agree, I'm really going for the build up and shenanigans, noticed the flights have shot up in price!ILikeBeer wrote:I wasn't saying don't go.jamesmcdonnell wrote:The atmosphere will be electric for this one, plus Dusseldorf is a fun town!ILikeBeer wrote:Is this really the big fight everybody is making out that it is?

Live a little yer miserable shite!Just that I didn't see it as a massive fight.
If it's on Sky Sports, there'll be several pubs within walking distance showing it. In fact, I've watched Eddie Hearn cards in the pub 45 seconds walk from my flat. Even if it's on PPV, a pub in the high street had the Kell Brook fight, so may well put this on too. It's only B0xN@ation that's difficult to find in pubs near me.mickey1975 wrote:All of my lot normally do Benidorm in November, they've all said it will be a change. Ilikebeer struggles to find a telly showing boxing in London, so I'm not surprised he's negative. It's cost me £230, all in, should be good.
It's a great city. Stay away from Rambolstrasse though.ILikeBeer wrote:Changing the subject, has anybody ever been to Berlin?
What would it be like for somebody to travel to, if you they were alone, intended to stay a few days, failed German at school and were intending to go solely to watch sport?
it'd be fine, even within those rather restrictive parameters.ILikeBeer wrote:Changing the subject, has anybody ever been to Berlin?

Yeah I saw that as well, awesome price, although obviously the view will be crap with those sort of tickets.dudu wrote:I saw that too... tickets cant be going that well?rhino222 wrote:groupon are doing deals for the klit/fury flight. include 3 nights accom and fight ticket for about £140.
Yeah, in most of the major cities, (though not in Bavaria) - almost everyone you meet under the age of 70 will speak excellent English.Counter-puncher wrote:it'd be fine, even within those rather restrictive parameters.ILikeBeer wrote:Changing the subject, has anybody ever been to Berlin?

Berlin is frigging great. It's one of my favourite cities. It's a totally non-stop 24 hour party town.ILikeBeer wrote:Changing the subject, has anybody ever been to Berlin?

I once went to the legendary Bar 25, and after getting stamped I went in at about midnight to find it a bit dead, I was told it didn't really get going until about 4.00 a.m - so me and the mrs decided to go to another club for a bit.
On the way out, I asked the bouncer what time the club closed.
"tuesday' he replied.
"No" I said - It's Thursday today, what TIME does it close."
He just smiled at me and said 'Like I said TUESDAY."
