The magistrate found Mr Cox guilty. You can't just appeal that you thought that decision was wrong in fact.

I'm passing no personal judgment of the merits, merely a legal analysis.
I was in court for the entire case the appeal has been lodged & will be heard in the crown.
On what grounds, though, is what I think Loynesy meant.

Take it this means he will not be fighting in that WBO eliminator!?
Hard enough for him to get fights before this gonna surely be extremely hard to get himself back in any sort of position now.
Is frank sticking with him?

Probably, he's not exactly flush for fighters.

If he's suspended for the duration of his sentence he could still be out in a stay busy fight before the end of the year. Can't see his WBO ranking being affected much by the inactivity, him being with Frank.

Not sure who you are talking to ?

As his legal team are preparing an appeal, I guess that means he got a guilty ?
I am aware of more than you when it comes to this case.
I am against violence against women as is Jamie Cox. The woman had no injuries just her word against Jamies so yes I feel the magistrates did get it wrong but more importantly so do Jamies legal team.
I'm not too sure here of the quality of the Jamie Cox legal team....let me put it that way.

If he's convicted. (He currently is) then he will not be allowed to box by the bbbofc until his sentence has passed.

For example, if he got 6 months but gets let out on license after 3 months he'll remain suspended by the bbbofc until the 6 months have elapsed.

He'll be called up by the area council and asked to give his account of things and they'll decide whether to reinstate his license.

Even if he appeals,it won't make a difference as until his appeal is upheld (if it is) he'll be viewed as a convicted criminal.
