I don't doubt that Canelo improved, but he still has those unpleasant memories giving him no desire to fight GGG.
Fighters that are at the level of those dont get where there at by being scared of someone.
In boxing its the people around the fighter that would prevent a fight not the actual fighters.

In most cases, boxers select people around them. For example, many pick Haymon, because he lets them to earn good money while fighting bums.

I see what your saying but Canelo was made by his manager and teainer since he was a child.
Canelo did not choose his team later in his career as for GBP same thing they been with Canelo even before they knew he would be something.
I would agree 100% if Canelo recently hooked up with a Haymon type.

Yes because GGG annihilated Lemiux in 8 rds the same Lemiux who got stopped by c level Marco Antonio Rubio in 6.
Lets see who else.
Geale yes the same Geale who got destroyed by Cotto too.
Fact of the matter is GGG has faced no one of note NO ONE!
At only 25 Canelo's resume dwarfs GGG'S easly.
Another fact Canelo at 25 has already accomplished more than GGG.
Funny you critique Canelo's power but who has GGG beaten that comes close to a Miguel Cotto?
Again NO ONE!!!
this is so ricilous it hurts dude. multiple world champ, number title defences. ggg amatuer credentials is already more than canelo will achieve. youre trolling or daft.

See, caldo, it is faulty reasoning like this that makes you and others look like a fanboy.
We all know lil g has shown signs of being the absolute real thing, a great, a HOF caliber type.
But he must do that against an elite fighter to really start being considered that.
Any guy here can look like Sugar Ray Leonard if he is in the ring against a guy who hasn't the first clue about
boxing or fighting.
But, put most posters in here in with a real fighter and they'd need a plastic surgeon AND an orthodontist afterwards.
Resume counts. Opposition counts.
And until we actually see that the jury remains out on Golovkin.

so brut, the intire top 25 mw's doesnt have a clue about boxing. why are you here. its a forum about boxing. its a sport you aparently have no knowledge of. what so ever. you are embarracing to your self.

No pal you must be the one trolling.
First off amateurs don't mean squat in the pros. Howard David jr won gold but his success in the amateurs never translated to the pros.
So because GGG was a successful amateur that means he automatically has already accomplished more than Canelo has as a pro?
Hahahah please stop your embarrassing yourself.
Yes multiple world champ but in the same division GGG doesn't wanna move up.
Now please answer me who has GGG beaten that is a better fighter than Cotto or Lara?
Like i said before a 25 your old in Canelo has already accomplished more than a 33 yr old GGG.

look dude. youre a nicer, but just as wacked, fanboy as koolbrut.
you know a lot of details about this guy huh. it implies youre a fan of his. thats nice for you. but are you a woman ? it seems to me that you are using your gut and feelings, as means of gettin by in a debate. it wont work you idiot.
this fight is not happening.
1. canelo will loose for sure. 95 % of the people in a boxing forum says so. and your idol arent as blindly in manlove as you are. he knows it will be an embarrasing defeat.
2. the people behind canelo, who are making money off of him, arent in manlove as you, and would like keep earning that cash, even though not in the magnitude they had expected. if he fights ggg they will earn no more.
3. canelos value is gone. he is almost a joke now, due to the handling of his carreer. he is an embarrasement and also he was a joke against floyd, and has great troubles fighting carribian worn out fighters, half his size...
4. he sure has improved since he was 20 hasnt he.... lolz

hey smart ass.
several olympic and world championship medals, 350 something fights with only very few loses, is of course, not an achievement compared to that of a pampered, nurtured, protected pro carreer, that has the goal of making some one else than the athlete himself, a lot of money.... ?
lol you idiot. im wasting no more time on you. youre just as lost as your "star". may the lord provide som solace for you poor dear souls.

Relax Bean your gonna give yourself a panic attack.
Why dont you answer the question.
Who has Golovkin beaten that is a better fighter than Cotto or Lara?
You cant answer cuz you wont like the answer.
Now you can keep telling yourself that GGG has medals and shiit but it still doesn't change the fact that Canelo has faced and beaten better fighters.
Those are the facts.
Now you can fuuck off.

One may argue that some of fighters beaten by Golovkin, like Lemieux and Murray, would beat Cotto and Lara, but more importantly, Canelo didn't really beat Lara and had a very close fight with Cotto. At the same time, Golovkin barely lost a round beating top 10 opponents at his weight and impressively stopped all of them.

I am a critic of both and even I can not argue that GGG is the better fighter.
GGG needs a big name.Period the end
Canelo struggles with anyone with an ounce of pure boxing talent. He clearly lost to Floyd.I feel he lost to Lara and the Trout fight is debatable..Cotto fight was way closer than it should of been.
Canelo is a good fighter but he is a peg or two below GGG.

The fact that cotto has flatly refused to fight GGG speaks volumes, cotto realises how destructive GGG is and canelo trying to push this ludicrous 155 garbage also has to tell you canelo doesn't think he can beat him on a level playing field, canelos already buckling about GGG

I honestly feel it is more Oscar than Canelo NOT wanting this fight.
But the 155 garbage is a joke

Yea i can also argue that Matthysse can KO Mayweather but we all know that wont happen.

Wlad was ready for the taking a 40 yr old man who was getting by by jabbing grabbing and clinching and looked god awful while doing it.
You cant compare those two to more refined and skilled guys like Canelo and GGG, idiot.
See i have no problem with ppl picking GGG to win its there opinion but what i do have a problem with is how the European cats around get there panties in a bunch when someone picks against there boy toy and don't agree with them.
That's biitchassnes at its finest.

Good.
You'll have the occasion to pick against GGG, as he's a 2 to 7 favorite vs Canelo right now.
Put your money where your mouth is, weirdo.

I will put money on it and when GGG becomes just a footnote on Canelo's resume ill be here to rub that shiit all over you GGG fanboys face.
And you fuuck boys better show up too don't go disappearing on me now.
I love this extreme obsession you guys have for this guy, its gonna make the win just that much sweeter.

Liar.
What weirdos like you will do after GGG schools him then stops him in 10 rds is start claiming Canelo was never a quality opponent after all and that Gennady's still never faced anyone good.
You people have been doing it for 3 years, and it won't gonna change anytime soon.

I wish Canelo had as much confidence as his fans in beating GGG, instead of wanting to weight drain him or wait until he gets old first.

Canelo's shots are not gonna faze GGG, and they both spend a lot of time flat footed wingin' shots..... who could that possibly favor? I don't see Gennady losing that fight, because it won't last 12. Not at the pace he is going to set. It'd be great to see an Ishida type knockout and Canelo lands in Chepo's lap. But I bet they don't take the fight, they know what's going to happen. The money train gets derailed and they gotta pick up all the lil ginger pieces and glue em back together again. Sad thing is the kid is huge he should be fighting at the middleweight limit, but playing these weak ass games when you have a middleweight title, it's lame.
I predict when the fight happens, Canelo takes the whupping he was going to get when he signed to fight Paul Williams, but worse.
