Frankie is a good man. He also wouldn't dream of wearing a TapOut t-shirt. Some things are unforgivable.

He shouldn't be barred from boxing, it is his livelihood - its not the BBBoC's place to further punish someone and in any case, if Frankie was a massive money maker then he'd most likely be treated with kid gloves by the board.

Does this mean he's not going to be on the January card?

Temporary suspension while he completes his sentence was given as the norm earlier in the thread so it's not too surprising. A lifetime ban would be OTT

Theres 23 things here

1..... With social media , really taking a big slice of the pie away from the media , to sell papers they are getting worse in twisting facts , But if they have twisted the facts , Gavin should show the world get a libel case going and make a quid out of it .

2.... The BBBC , who do they think they are they have an history of sticking there nose in , Gavin has pleaded and been punished by the law , they do not have the right to stop him earning a living imposing a stiffer sentence than the courts did ,, If the courts thought he should'nt box and earn a living they could off said so ,,, Its about time boxers started telling them to fornicate off and join the Malta crowd ,, If they banned promoters for going bust and not paying boxers , from starting up again with a different liscence , fair enough , but they don't .

3---- If Gavin had an history of being a bully , gettiing into bar room brawls , then he deserves the book threw at him , But heh , if its a one off occurence helping a mate , when he's out with his familly ,,, so what ,, i was 52 last time i had a blue ,, That was helping a mate 4-5 blokes belting into him , Felt great after , punched the fornicate out of them we did , consider it my last hoorah , and i'm a legend now :box: :yay:

Maybe the paper has embellished the facts , I see he's said he'll never talk to them even about boxing after what they wrote.
