Seb's breakdown of the fight could have been really interesting but he was blatantly off his nut and kept on repeating himself over and over to the point where he became almost unlistenable and I was glad when Steve basically told him to shut up.

The bloke's obviously got a lot to say but he sounded like he was on MDMA or something and a lot of good points got lost in a big drug ramble. What a waste.
I've listened to a few with that Seb on. His voice/accent does my head in. Just can't figure it out. Where's he from?
Sebs awful, i just cant listen to him. Ruining the podcast for me at the mo.
he must have some pics of steve wellings in de la hoya style drag locked away somewhere, cant think of why else they would persist with him...

  Haven't heard him enough to have a proper opinion but that drug fuelled rant from the other week didn't half do my head in.

I dunno. It's not an immediately recognisable regional accent. All I know is that if he's white I'll laugh my tits off.

He's knowledgeable enough and for that reason I think he has his place but he fornicating prattles on, doesn't he?

I like Andy and Adam best. Steve seems to have grown into his role as host and is quite funny now, too.

I get the blame but it's not me bringing him on. Donny is his mate and sneaks the link to him.

Haha not a chance, Donny always cops the blame the poor fella.
Seb is Andy "RickyHatton/ChechynSexSlave" Pattersons pet project.
Steve, keep up the goodwork my friend...

Seb definitely the worst thing about recent shows. I personally don't like listening to the Guru either. Andy P the best analyst on there for me, though I do like listening to Donny and Hater Dave.

David Lee has great knowledge but every sentence he speaks has some sort of cliche in it.

Steve does a very good job as host.

Anybody listen to Shep's solo effort "On Queer Street"? It was good because he had Charles Farrell on, who is easy to listen to, but I can't see how it will work going forward with just one person. If he can bring a different and credible guest on each time he could have something decent.

 I listened to some of Shep's podcast and it was alright actually, but it felt desperate and to me I could hear it in his voice. There's already too many of these things. It doesn't really need to be anything more than the Asylum. NBP are like a bunch of women. They're always falling out with each other and leaving, crying about something. Brian falling out with Shep who falls out with everybody and Press Pass who's fallen out with the Asylum who desperately wants to be on NBP... These things are basically just some grumpy blokes chatting on Skype (or whatever they use). Sometimes it can be funny, sometimes it can be boring, sometimes it's kinda depressing because you get the impression they don't even like boxing. I listen for things like BOTW which is always funny and I'm glad they take the time out to do it.

Cheers for the feedback lads. Glad people enjoy it. At the end of the day it's a labour of love and more time intensive to organise and pull together than some realise. But if it was easy then it wouldn't be boxing, eh? :bag:

:TU: doing a good job, Steve. Always caning my data between you and NBP, listening to it driving to work and back via YouTube. All the time and effort is not unappreciated.

Given it another go over the past few weeks and have enjoyed - good mix of quality analysis and a light-hearted amble around the wonderful world of boxing. The Amir(?) Khan call last week had me in absolute stitches. Much more enjoy these things when they aren't endless Hearn PPV bashing.

Cheers Steve & co :TU:

We all know there's a lot to moan about but there's hardly any enthusiasm or positivity about any fights/fighters/anything, so ends up a bit depressing.

Clearly they're all passionate about boxing but it would be nice to hear it from a positive perspective every so often :TU:
I regularly watch Boxing Gossip's podcast and it's quite more upbeat and where there's criticism it's not wankers screaming about it, they're calm and constructively critical.

The Big Pod is good, I've only listened to two but their insider knowledge seems good and they don't go overboard with depression.
