several people who visit this site occasionally know me personally and if
those shots don't come down about 20 daily posters here will recognize that

i prefer to just discuss boxing anonymously with adults, here. i'm just trying
to save you some heartache. calling anonymous people out personally on the

very nice in person. you're lucky if all they want to do is box.

Not sure if it is just rumor at this point, but the winner of Spence/Algieri is supposed to be in line to face Brook next, assuming Brook wins his next fight. I would love to see Spence vs Brook. I hope it happens, but not sure Brook does.

I dabbled in MMA and I will tell you that I don't do MMA. If I ever hit the lottery that is what I would devote my time to though. But I started way too late and guys who are black belts all that are way ahead of me. I would have to have started much younger like early in high school. I am only talking about boxing. Well. Yes! Takes two to tangle certainly. Well...more than two because you need a promoter too! SaadoffTheDeck vs Lancenix.
I "AGREE" no use going out of your way unless it is your occupation or strong past time!
Truth is that maybe one out of every 500 men or so have ever stepped into a boxing ring on any level. So when I am challenging him to that I am playing the percentages. I am sure he never has because he did not come back with anything. It would be an easy kicking of his butt for me. Think of it if you put on gloves and headgear would you even know what to do? The answer is no. Unless you have done it before. His weight does not matter to me because it would not matter. Shittoffthedeck has never done anything in the ring so it is a moot point. I would not even want to hurt the guy. He talks a lot of poo and just likes to talk boxing and that is OK. And boxing is so much different than fighting. Yeah they are mostly dealing with established entities anyway. Off of circut could be problematic. One of my streams is: Fights I would like to get into. One -dude- came on there (I DON'T even LIKE him..) and was rude. But..he isn't real boxer and thus..is "disconnected". So.. it's unlikely.
Their is such a thing as the unsanctioned but, the parties yet must negotiate.
I got a call to fight James Buddy McGirt once.. when I was competing. We DIDN'T but it was offered.

I'm not as sold on Spence as some, yet. I'm interested to see if Algieri can make him show his defense. I have my doubts due to CA's utter lack of pop.
The only criticism I have had of Spence is that he tends to take more shots than necessary. While that may be due to his lack of respect for his competition, it is not a good idea to trade when it is not necessary in battle. Maybe an argument can be made that he is just banking rounds but that can be done without absorbing unnecessary incoming, if you have the firepower and other gifts and skills that Spence appears to have.
If Spence takes unnecessary incoming v Algieri due to his lack of respect I would consider it a flaw, unless it is done as a possum tactic for the benefit of suckering in future opponents.

Pretty much how I see Crawford doing. Lets see what happens. What a fight it would be if Spence vs Crawford a year or two from now? Something to look forward to. I think both guys are game. May have to wait to fight after uncle Bob kicks it.

Talk to al, Spence will fight anyone, anywhere. He's past ready mentally and physically.
Instead in his career he has fought no one nowhere and none of the time. He is 26 has 19 pro fights and zero quality wins. What's your point??
He will have one after he beats Algieri, the point is that many fighters aren't ready to give Spence a go because he's too high risk and little to no reward.
You'll get to see his skills soon enough, they can only run for so long. Mark my words; Spence will become the man of the division as soon as the cowards stop running.
