I'm a lumberjack and after looking at that photo , Bellew could be the Big-foot seen grubbing about in my backyard.

He should do. He's never boxed out of Argentina, lost 7, drawn 3. :shame:

That's just a joke of an opponent? I mean come on! I would be embarrassed fighting that dwarf.

If Callum's pencilled in to fight the Groves/Murray winner I would've thought he'd want to get a few rounds in against reasonable opposition bearing in mind he's only fought for 2 rounds in the last 12 months

That's one of the reasons I detest him, always the big talk and acting hard before the fight, then he turns in a feeble defensive safety first effort on the night.

Who can forget the second McKenzie fight and the 'Masterclass' ?

I like Ricky and it would be great to see him win but I'll find it hard to regard him as a 'World Champion' As for Bellew, British or not I can't stick the bloke and I hope he gets sparked, and if he cries again I'll laugh.

He deserves knocking out for that waistcoat if nothing else.
Yeah that's feckin horrendous!
I don't think the waistcoat itself is that bad but it doesn't match the jacket, etc, he's wearing.

Bellew just doesn't look right without his mugger's gear on.

I'd love it if Bellew won but I really can't see it. I see more likely a beating & knock out.

Apparently his dad was an armed robber yet his grandad was a policeman

Undercard is shocking. No a single decent fight. Scrubs and mismatches. And who is Callum Smith fighting against? A blatant attempt to just put names on the card to sex it up. I don see how is tis going to be a successful stadium event. I hope the main event delivers at least.

totally agree, this is an extremely weak show to be held in a stadium, the undercard isnt worth watching and the main event are not what you would call household names, very poor but will still watch

Bloke that Smigga is fighting has decent record statistically but nearly all his fights have been on Gentleman Fight Club shows in Hungary promoted by Zoltan Petranyi, this means fighting stablemates, local would be hardmen and keep fitters in a near empty gym.

Usually stadium fights have a long build up,this fight wasnt confirmed too long ago, probably the reason why everyones fighting stiffs,i'll give Stephen Smith some cred for going in another 12 rounder the month after going 12 rounds in a title fight, same with Dodd, although the opponents are hardly stellar,Callum's fights a waste of time though and whats the story with Paul?? If not for the undeserved fights with Abraham and Ward,he'd just be plodding along fighting 6 rounders against Latvians for the rest of his career, occasionally pulling out of some of them

Awful undercard not too disimilar to a Sauerland event

Eddie should have bumped this up to 12 and had some spurious title attached to it, pretty sure one of the WBF's, WBU, GBC or similar would have jumped at the chance to have Smigga as one of their belt holders.

Smiggs is world class, it's demeaning having him box down the bill 6 rounders.

You have to feel for poor Liam Smigg, all his brethren appearing on the same big outdoor scouse festival and he stuck fighting some unknown and unpronounceable Balkan on his tod at the Echo next week.

Bellew, who has missed out on the WBC cruiserweight title on two occasions,

According to the BBC website, this is Bellew's third attempt at this title, can't see him doing it this time either.

He seems to prefer being with Warren.
