Hoiyfield repeated SEVERAL TIMES that Foreman was really SLOW!!!! ... Now...the formula for power is MASS X SPEED X FORCE... Foreman was missing one component of this equation as Evander Holyfield pointed out repeatedly in the video you posted... Joshua has MASS 245 pounds of it... Joshua has SPEED, throws the fastest and sharpest punches ever for a heavyweight... Joshua has FORCE, AJ does massively effective strength training which drives his punches through the mark with tremendous power.
OMG!! Please!!

Some of us would rather hear from a top boxer. You obviously ain't no boxer. All I heard was Foreman hit hard and I already knew that but just like listening to an actual top boxer than a ??? What ever you are.

Also I've already written about punching power and I'm sure you have already read it. Definitely not going to post on that cos it sucks having to break it down for everyone to understand.

Anthony Joshua is good we all know that. Does he need to be the most powerfullest puncher? He needs to be the best boxer. I'm a fan of his too, of the 3 champions he is my favourite. However you're an over the top fan that could possibly put people OFF Joshua.

Foreman was pretty old when he fought Holyfield, and was never exactly a speed demon at any point. If you're trying to suggest AJ hits like Foreman, AJ has a LONG way to go and a lot of knockouts to get before he proves that. Foreman is one of the hardest hitters in Boxing history at any weight.

Most modern day heavyweight sparring partners point to Wilder as the hardest who has hit them although this is just anecdotal evidence.

I surprised there's much doubt, out of the current lot he's clearly the one with the biggest punch.

I assure you my Boxing background is 10,000 times better than yours.

Joshua is bigger, taller, faster, stronger, speedier, and gets more leverage on his shots than Foreman. Anyone who knows anything about punching science knows bigger, taller, faster, stronger, longer limbed, and more athletic men punch harder than shorter, smaller, slower, less athletic and poorly trained men.. Foreman was well trained for Joe Frazier 1 (217 pounds) and not too many others.. He ate fatburgers rather than trained.

Foreman hit China Chinned levi Forte with the KITCHKEN SINK and COULDN'T KOCK HIM OUT!!! FORTE HAD BEEN KNOCKED OUT EIGHT TIME BEFORE!!! Foreman had to punch super easy to hit LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Greg Peralta for 20 rounds in 2 fights to get him out... Foreman COULDN'T knock out little Jimmy Young - OR knock him down, though he hit him real good... THOSE were ALL guys Foreman fought when he wan YOUNG.

Joshua has no such trouble getting rid of ANYBODY... Huge Heavyweights who've never been knocked out or beaten before??? He destroys them.

You look like a complete idiot trying to argue Joshua hits harder than Foreman. Let Joshua have a career first before you start putting him in the same league as one of the hardest hitters the sport has ever seen.

76 wins, 68 wins by Knockout. Joshua will have done something very impressive if his career ends with even half that amount of wins, and if he's anywhere near that KO percentage. He's got a 100% KO percentage for now, but that doesn't last when you start fighting the guys at the top on a regular basis. There's no boxer that can knock out everyone he fights. Never has been, never will be.

Notice how I don't mention me nor do I compare my boxing knowledge to yours AT ALL. Now let's look at your response and see if it's fitting..
I assure you my Boxing background is 10,000 times better than yours.
Why are you bringing "boxing background" into it? I just told you who everyone would rather listen to. We are sick of your crap, we ALL know you talk a lot of shit.

You are a ABSOLUTE IDIOT.

i think it realy is foreman. he had this great punching power, with training methods of the 60's. imagine him with training methods of today. body building, athletic trainer and all that other stuff. a 74 prme foreman with training methods of 2000+, i think that this is the man you you least want to get punched.

as far as todays boxers, yeah wlad has serious power, training methods from today also gave him a huge boost to put power on, but he had natural power. josh is tough puncher, but i think he has to much muscles, he is to heavy, but it is strange, although he is this big, his punches come very fast. wilder seems to be the hardest puncher, very athletic, very aggressiv, puts everything into a punch, ridicoulus ko ratio, a lot of sparring partners say he is the biggest puncher they ever faced.

I think the problem is that most of you never saw Gerry Cooney in his heyday. Check out Cooney-Norton.
