Do you ever have anything worthwhile to contribute?

Haven't been able to find it, but Charlo looked like (at least) a full fledged fight night MW v Trout.

It seemed like they showed the next day weights on the Tale of the Tape last night.

I'd say Jermall was at least 168 or higher in the ring last night, while Trout was probably around 162 or 163.

Lara won by a round or two IMO.
He had a slight edge but it was a close fight.
A draw is not ridiculous, but the refs point deduction was ridiculous.

Yeah Vic Drakulich always does stuff like that. He's a terrible referee. Lara basically coached him into that point deduction by reacting every time he was hit anywhere near low, and after enough of it Vic took his cue and took a point from Vanes that was not necessary at all. Drakulich has always been a terrible referee. I don't recall too many fights he's ever officiated where he just did a good job and didn't f*ck something up along the way.

Just watched Marti v Lara again. Excellent boxing match. I stick with my score last night of a draw. This time I scored a winner for every round, no even rounds.

1-Marti (close but clear)
2-Lara (clear)
3-Marti (clear)
4-Lara (very close)
5-Lara (very close)
6-Marti (very close)
7-Marti (very close)
8-Lara (clear)
9-Marti (close but clear)
10-Marti (close but clear)
11-Lara (10-8 due to BS penalty, but Lara won it close but clear)
12-Marti (clear)

I would have had it 115-113 Marti without the penalty.

Very disappointing comment by Lara about not intending to face the Charlos because they are his stablemates. I get it but he is not their brother and they have the belts.

Thanks for the RBR! You simply called it as you saw it and imo, it isn't off. I had dough on Lara and like you, thought he lost a close one. All things being equal, I give rds to the aggressor and the fighter attempting to make a fight. Lara is negative and rather painful to watch. Several rds were very difficult to score and as far as I'm concerned, this one could have gone either way. Last time I looked, body shots counted as much as head shots. They're not as flashy but they are effective and Mart was landing clean body shots throughout the fight. The point deduct was pure horseshit. 115-113 or closer either way is a decent card in my book.

I stopped posting on forums due to know it all douchebags such as lancinix. Posters like him and his ilk can go fvck themselves.

I thought judges got it right 115-113 lara but disagree with the point deduction.

Overall Lara pretty much was just too slick n accurate, Vanes bodyshots were mostly blocked but he gave a good effort.

Lara beats the charlo brothers imo rather easly especially the brother who was getting outboxed by Jackson.

Vanes landed A LOT of clean liver shots. There is just something wrong with his left hook technically, so it wasn't effective.

No problem. Farcenix is what he is, which doesn't bother me. He has to endure the consequences of it though.

I have no problem with the decision for Lara given how close so many rounds ended up being. I (repeat) have no problem with Lara. I really disagree with the vociferous hatred directed at him. He is a wonderful boxer and I enjoy his fights.
