The guy never cheated. There is nothing performance enhancing about cocaine. I've seen it referred to on these boards, repeatedly, as a stimulant as if that means anything.
The guy has very likely got mental health issues. People insinuating he made them up to cover up for the cocaine issue really should be sure of that before spouting it online.
Mental health issues could have been a causal factor in his choice in lifestyle. His choice in life style could be a causal factor in his mental health issues. I would have serious reservations about leveling criticism at anyone who may be suffering mentally.
The guy is human. We can all sit here on a pedestal, telling the world he should be a role model.
No one knows what happens inside his head. No one here can tell the pressure he is under and the temptations of his new found fame.
I've taken the stuff before and I don't consider myself a "bad example to the young uns", equally I'm not a millionaire sportsman I suppose.
But let's not forget who will lose most from this. It's his body, it's his decision what he puts in it and he will be the one that pays the greatest penalty for getting caught.
I reckon most people dont care what he takes, just dont be a twat taking narcotics a few weeks before a title fight ffs! He kniws there is random drug testing taking place, its in the contract, so why is he snorting coke a few weeks prior to the fight??? He is either thick as pig sh*t, wanted out, or, as Uncle Peter claims, seriously ill with depression. We all know Tyson is a slice of cheese short of a sandwich, but the timing of it all stinks, he has clearly been caught red handed, knows he's getting banned, prior to the announcement he pulls out with no explination, Uncle Peter creates a smoke screen by blaming the boxing community for his downfall for not treating him like Elvis, the depression card is raised to avoid scrutiny, all the while the sport fontinues to suffer from his actions. Well sorry, i'm not buying it, this guy has hijacked the heavyweight division for over a year and now we are supposed to feel sorry for him because they are claiming depression???
Get yourself sorted out pronto or get the fcuk out off the way and let boxing move onward without you.

bang on. Falsely claiming "depression" as a smoke screen is repulsive. The should send Fury to support groups for families such as Gary Speeds widow and Children, I'm sure it would go down well when he says he's depressed because the tabloids didn't sing his praises enough. The guy is scum imo.

Tyson visits the Diprose brothers in maximum security HMP Full Sutton near York. They're from his hometown and in for serious drug offences. He's been around the stuff a long time. Still foolish for taking it in his position. I would have thought those around him, family and friends, wouldn't have wanted him taking it and would have refused to serve him.

I front see your logic of somehow knowing he isn't depressed just cos he's taken drugs Ricky (respectfully). By that theory, neithers gazza or hatton.

What a shame! He's a talent, the best in the world for far far too short a length of time.
I think it's pretty clear he's a bit up and down and that he's really struggled since the win. All the signs of a young man with some mental struggles to overcome.
Good luck to him.
As others have said he can use this as a springboard and come back stronger but he needs to go away for a year or so and get himself together, rehab, therapy, whatever it is he needs. It's going to be bloody hard though, first thing he needs to do is get as far away as possible from all the people that have been allowing him to carry on like this. That's going to be very tough.

It's banned as a stimulant
Banned in competition not 1 month plus from the fight. Name another fighter done for coke, not in competition.
Pretty sure tony oakey was banned for taking drugs not in competition

Peter Fury blamed the press for Tyson's pullout. The worst of Tyson's outbursts (Jews/ homosexuals) was in a filmed interview when Peter Fury questioned him.
Tyson didn't turn up for the press conference and then excuses were made about traffic, car breakdown and lack of phone signal. Does anyone believe this?
Peter Fury claimed that Hughie would become the youngest ever world heavyweight champion (Mike Tyson was 20 years 4 months).
Hughie Fury is 22 and won't fight Dillian Whyte.

Fury should either decide what he wants to do,pull his socks up,get fit and stop whinging or keep on snorting and stop whinging or maybe his team rather should stop whinging
Either way Tyson's misdemenours have nothing on Scott Harrison, caught with vally's outside a nightclub
And then there's the crisps.......

It's incredible, I really can't fathom why so many boxing fans buy the Fury family bullshit. He gave up the belts to duck David Price because he was a puncher. He took one look at Ustinov on the scales and pulled out of the fight the next day. The guy avoided punchers his entire career on his pathway up the rankings and you seen why when he fought Cunningham. He'll probably wait for this to blow over, for Klitchko to retire, then fight Chisora again.

Not as far as I know. I know he's from Leigh park which is a rough are estate, and was in the Leigh park gym when I was taken down there as a 11yr old. But I'm certain he isn't a traveller

Yeah that was at late notice as well I think. I used to work with a guy from East Kilbride and he worked doing the CCTV over there and he was telling me he saw Harrison leather two guys at the bus station. Apparently he was steaming drunk bouncing off the walls but still knocked seven shades of shite outta the two of them!
I was at a show in Paisley a couple of years or so back and he was there out his nut! Was during one of his 'comebacks' as well!

He was gouching in the back of a taxi on M-Cat last a seen him. The boy he was way is pure plastic. Shame because he was as tough as auld bits. My mate Peely used to school him in sparring...over four rounds.
