Although the Irish in the surrounding 'countryside' have made quite a name for themselves of late. I was in Manchester two weeks ago and was being asked if I knew them.

I don't think there is any danger of this event not being sold out, and it'll probably still do enough buys to be financially worth it. I suspect that it'll still hit 150k buys. Hearn and Matchroom will milk the crap out of the Whyte and Chisora animosity to help more people press that red button.

I personally don't blame him, his job is to make his company and his fighters money. A few die hards have a cry. So what? Won't affect his revenue stream. The casuals will make sure of that.

I won't buy that PPV or a ticket on the night, but that's my choice. Everyone else will make theirs too. I just hope (optimistically admittedly) that 2017 starts to bring the fights we all are desperate to see.

The main issue that is causing problems is bots buying all the tickets before anyone gets a chance.

Completely agree. Irrespective of if Eddie and co. are picking up a cut of StubHub tickets or not, it promotes touting and will attract a tonne of criticism. Tickets shouldn't be sold on, end of discussion. Just leaves a bad taste in the mouth for everyone.

On Stubhub tickets are falling now quite fast. Those touts who bought them are still hold of them and now the cheap ones are around £84. They will come lower by December.

It was getting not worth it selling on the resale sites (due to the cut they take from both buyer and selling) so went through gumtree still turned a bit of a profit (about £20 per ticket) but the last couple of AJ shows was over double that.

The only time I've resold tickets was for Froch-Groves 2. It was getting nearer to the event and I started to get a little nervy as I wasn't getting my asking price. Anyway eventually this woman contacts me offering a little below my asking price. She said they were for her husbands birthday. Anyway just after she had offered me and I agreed- I got offered an absolute packet off a couple of desperate people.

I could have made some serious profit but I didn't wanna be a pudendum and ruin somebody's birthday by pulling out at the last minute. Probably a bit muggy but I wouldnt have felt pleased with myself if I had sold them on for more money to someone else.
