Im not sure of the price for a Bellew win (outright price) but if its decent like 3/1 ill have a fiver on him with the hope Haye has nothing in the tank. But I know he has.Taansend wrote:This.mimmy123 wrote:I have to agree with the majority that Bellew has no chance, however, Bellew has fought world class opposition of late but Haye has not fought anyone remotely decent since 2011. Haye should win fairly easily but nothing is certain.

Say what you want about Haye & Bellew, but they can certainly generate interest.
Huh? Your point here is there's more interest in this pish than the biggest fight ever?
Shame that these fake grudges capture casuals more than proper fights i guess. Ward-Kovalev & Lomachenko-Walters for example had me properly excited but there seemed to be barely a peep about them outwith the dedicated boxing circles.

Yeah that was basically my point. I don't think a single person on my Facebook mentioned Ward-Kovalev which was very disappointing and surprising considering it was between 2 elite prime fighters and was being shown non-PPV on Sky Sports, but I must have seen at least 10 different people sharing & commenting on the Haye-Bellew press conference today. The 'casuals' are lapping it up!Ricky_ wrote:Ah, got you now budBoxerbeetle wrote:I don't know how you came to that conclusion. The operative word was 'since'.Ricky_ wrote:

Mrs sister text where "whens the fight on?". Woman in her mid 30's who has NO interest in boxing. Boiled my piss for some reason.

They are indeed. I've already had invites to houses to watch this. Was called a geek for caring about waed/Kovalev and lomachenko/waltersBoxerbeetle wrote:Yeah that was basically my point. Re: Bellew has NO chance against Haye
the most likely outcome is a haye win bellew has been down a lot in his career, credit to him he normally gets up to win and not the hardest to hit, but with haye hitting him I couldn't see him getting back up the plus side for bellew is haye isn't what he use to be and you just never now would be interesting to know their respective sparring partners for this fight. heart and head says haye within 4.

If I was offered 50/1 on Bellew winning by any means I'd happily take itmimmy123 wrote:Im not sure of the price for a Bellew win (outright price) but if its decent like 3/1 ill have a fiver on him with the hope Haye has nothing in the tank. the best on offer is 9/2 which is just ducking daft IMO.Taansend wrote:If I was offered 50/1 on Bellew winning by any means I'd happily take itmimmy123 wrote:Im not sure of the price for a Bellew win (outright price) but if its decent like 3/1 ill have a fiver on him with the hope Haye has nothing in the tank. Thought Haye was quality at the conference ripping into Haye.
He was also quite brutal with Coldwell. Should send him bodyactives details. He loves Coldwell.

Lol, so he says, I would be shocked if Bellew rocks Haye, but he will give it a go, before he gets taken out.Syntax Error wrote:I don't think it'll be quite the same, as Bellew might actually try & hit Haye, unlike Harrison who just stood there like a startled pheasant for a couple of rounds.Anzi wrote:Audley Harrison !gazza8 wrote:Fight will sell to the casuals, many will believe Bellew can win after the hype leading up to the figh, then the same people be moaning when Haye knocks him out in 2 rounds.
Mismatch which Haye wins with the first punch he lands
It should end even quicker as Haye will spring into action earlier, wary of what might happen if Bellew connects, because we all know that Tony is the hardest puncher in boxing history.
Re: Bellew has NO chance against Haye
Taking nothing away from Bellew here, he's hit some form, bagged a world title so good luck to him.
But in all seriousness, he went 12 rounds with a pumped up Light Heavy in Cleverly who couldn't carry the weight in a stinker of a fight.
Makabu is/was made out to be this 'killer' but who had this 'monster' actually beat?
BJ Flores, nothing even needs to be said there.. but as in most cases most newly crowned world champs like to get a first defence behind them and Flores fitted the bill. The fight also helped build the Haye fight.
He isn't sparking Sideshow Bob.
