Easy cupcake! I said suspect, not glass. The jury is still out, he's only been hit once in 18 fights which doesn't tell us a great deal, but we know that he was wobbled by that one punch, and has been levelled in the amateurs. At the end of the day, his chin might be irrelevant if he can protect it, which so far he has done a good job of, but he will come up against better opposition and real punchers.
Who levelled him in the amateurs? And he has been hit more than once in the pro ranks,i suggest u watch whyte hit him again and see how AJ reacts,if he was wobbled he wouldnt be smiling would he? The way you said it was he has a suspect chin, were is the suspition on his chin? In 18 fights he has looked in control of every one of them,he got hit and controlled the fight. People think cause boxers get stoppes or rocked they have a suspect chin i.e lennox lewis naseem hamed, now in ur case anthony joshua, lets see how you react if a 17st professional boxer hits you on the chin, you would be asleep for a month son shine, does this mean you have a suspect chin cupcake?
Jesus man, what is wrong with you? Why are you so damned angry all the time? It's like you're bashing your knuckles against the keyboard in a drunken rage all the time.
Suspect: (verb), Have an idea or impression of the existence, presence, or truth of (something) without certain proof.
I did not say that Joshua has a brittle chin, I said it is merely suspect. Purely speculation, open to debate, so roll up your tongue and put it back in your mouth. He was knocked down by Whyte in the amateurs. There is even rumour he was knocked out cold by Price in sparring, but considering that was rumour, I decided not to include it in the argument. Anthony Joshua has been in 18 pro-fights, of course he's going to have been caught a few times, but I'm talking about being caught flush, which has happened once. If he'd been levelled by a jab, then I'd advise him to find a different sport. But fortunately he seems to be okay to the jab.
My point is, he has been caught flush once, and this means we still know very little about his ability to absorb some serious punishment. Eventually he is going to find himself in the ring with someone that is going to connect back. Then we'll know.
Ps. Christ knows why the hell you're bring my chin into it.
Hahaha rob chill out man,u said suspect to me that means dodgey chin,i dont mean to come across as aggressive my apologise man

I cant argue with fools but its obvious to me and 90% of boxing fans that Fury is still the best heavyweight out there. Cornflakes.

Hello Ian. He's only won one fight in the last two years and that was against Jennings who then got properly battered by Ortiz - so there's an argument that someone else has proved otherwise.

Klit also beat 2 current top 10 opponents (Povetkin and Pulev) in the past 3 and a half years.
Ortiz went 7 rounds with Dave Allen less than a week ago and hasnt beaten anybody in the top 10...

Just out of interest, what would be your top 10?
I suppose it's hard to define "active". I was going to say Povetkin but he hasn't fought in over a year. Wilder is (I think) still injured? I would class Povetkin and Klitschko as active as they have fights booked in and Wilder has fought in the last 12 months so I'd say he is fairly active too.
Ok bit of an exaggeration saying top 10,he wouldnt get in my top 5,AJ,WILDER,KLIT,POVETKIN,browne and pulev are all above him imo
How can you have Browne and Pulev rated over Ortiz??? ... He would smash those guys out quickly... How can you have Wladimir ranked over Ortiz??? Wladimir is an old man with no reflexes who struggled with Jennings for 12... Ortiz was killing Jennings every minute he was in there.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ortiz is older than the big Klit tbf. And he has looked shite in his last couple of fights there is no denying that.

On top of that, Jennings actually won 2 or 3 rounds.

What if the winner of Joshua and Wlad couldn't beat Wilder or Parker?
I'm playing devils advocate here as I reckon they probably would but until it happens, you just never know.

Wilder or Parker don't become #1 without beating the Wlad-Joshua winner. Based on Parker's performance against Ruiz I don't see him as any threat to the guys at the top anymore.
Wilder is a KO loss waiting to happen, that's why he refuses to defend his title against anybody in the Top 10.

He couldn't pass a drug test to get a shot at becoming #1 so he's just about irrelevant at this point.

Ultimately Joshua, Parker and Wilder are just top prospects with titles, who haven't really beaten the best (or each other) yet
Wlad was the man, but he's been toppled and the guy that toppled him has gone AWOL (yet some suggest if that guy comes back he has to somehow go to the back of the queue till he proves himselof again)
So does beating Wlad make Joshua no1? I'm not so sure it should, we really don't know how faded Klitschko is.
I think the picture is very unclear and we are a lot more than 1 fight from having a definitive answer.
My preferred option based on who i
think is the best is Joshua but there are too many question marks around them all
I can make an argument for any one of the top 8 losing to one or two others around them

Again, ranKings are based on resume not potentiAl.
Wlad will be the best win on anybodies resume so AJ will go to straight to number 2 in the world rankings imo...

I would say yes (assuming Fury is out for the foreseeable) because beating a faded Wladimir Klitschko is still a better win than anything Wilder, Parker or Ortiz have on their record.

Malik scott got TKOed by derek chisora in 1round does this make chisora better than ortiz? No it doesnt, styles make fights ortiz is a strong come forward fighter were as klit is a stand up boxer who fights defensive so of course ortiz would make a bigger dent in jennings doesnt make him no.1 in my opinion

How would he not go to #1?
Because Tyson Fury is number 1.
Wlad is currently number 2.
If AJ beats Wlad he jumps Wlad, to the number 2 slot, not Tyson...

As it stands today, 12 months on from beating Wlad, Fury is number 1 in the division. There is simply no debating it.
If Fury is still "retired" come January 1st 2018 then I will happily reconsider my selection...

Joshua.
Wilder does lack fundamental boxing skills and overrelies on his big swinging shots.
Klitchsko hasn't fought in over a year, so we don't know what to make of him.
Parker is inexperienced and not great.
The only other people we could put in the conversation is David Haye (if he got back to his best) and Luis Ortiz.

who has Joshua beat for you to make him definitively number 1? Whyte, Martin, Breazeale, Molina?
Wilder has beaten the same calibre of opponent AJ has, he's just beat more of them, Scott, Stiverne, Molina, Duhaupas, Szpilka, Arreola.
That puts Wilder ahead of AJ for me at this stage.
Klit hasn't fought in a year but 12 months ago he was THE man in the division, untouched for 11 and a half years. He cant fall that far, today he is 2nd only to Tyson Fury.
Also, not sure how you can consider Parker inexperienced with Takam and Ruiz jr on his resume. Takam is arguably the toughest of any of the current world champions wins.
Ortiz is on the same level as AJ and Wilder, hes beaten Allen, Scott, Thompson and Jennings in the past year.
Povetkin has the best run of wins out of the also rans, but his were all in Russia with drugs possibly involved.
Pulev is someone not to sleep on also, if AJ beats Wlad, but gets in trouble, he will avoid Pulev like the plague...

So Fury has to be inactive for 27 months before you'd consider removing him from contention?

And thats the problem and why its difficult to get a proper answer as when Fury beat Klitschko,Wladimir was the number one man in the division. Now its a little murkier with Wladimir still considered the number one man(well by some anyway) but a lot more doubt about it by most and with a prospect like Joshua and Parker to a lesser degree coming through compared with Wladimirs time its definitely a lot harder to have Joshua going straight to the top of the pile compared with how Fury did it.
if Joshua does beat Wlad,he deserves credit but theres only one way of then finding the number one man and thats probably not ever going to happen...
