I personally don't think it will do well. Nobody I know is going on about. It's ok having 10 million watching Corrie, but all the potential buyers are watching Sky sports.

Like everyone else on here I have no intention of buying this farce of a PPV, it will be the 1st PPV I haven't bought in over 10 years, ive bought some shite over the years, Stieglitz vs Ornelas on Primetime is 1 example but I draw the line at this, mainly because English's clear contempt for fans on Twitter, I know he lacks intelligence and everything he says must be taking with a pinch of salt but I refuse to feed his ego, even if he tried to explain the reasons for the PPV, the least he could do is say its necessary blah blah blah but instead he tells us we should be grateful, knobhead

Ive bought more than a few PPVs with maybe only 1 fight worth watching but I still got it anyway coz I watch all things boxing and I don't want to miss it, the thing is theres a few fights on this card that I'm stoked for Price vs Hammer and Ryder vs Etches are great match ups

I can understand people refusing to pay for PPVs as it invites THEM(Sky and Co) to eff us over in the future like now or the Bellew/Cleverly 2 joke but ive always bought them coz its still a cheaper night in than going to the pub so ive never grudged it, I spend more than £20 on sweets so fvck it

But the point I'm getting at is that Eubank Sr is the main reason I'm not buying this,not the fights

Is the whole card ppv now or are they still putting the undercard on one of the normal itv channels?

I won't be buying simply for the fact that if this gets a few buys then soon all boxing will be ppv.

I'm sure the advert last week had the show on box office starting at 7pm so the full card must be on PPV I'm assuming. I still think it's mental! Could've just went on regular ITV and built a bigger fan base!

Its a classic mate. Even the opening 2 minutes or so will have you laughing than most recent comedies shown on TV.

I bet this ends up doing half decent numbers, they obviously realised this Eubank fight alone wasn't big enough hence why the whole undercard is now also on PPV. Doubt we will ever be told how many it sold officially though.

just checked the TV schedule and zero boxing (undercard) on Itv1, 2 , 3, 4

some mugs will buy it if its red button... not sure if that's been confirmed as no interest

Can’t wait for this fight. After watching dross like Frampton v Santa Cruz on my standard Sky subscription, now there is an opportunity to watch some top quality PPV action.

i just ordered it through virgin. first ppv i paid for since quigg v frampton. this is a much better show than haye v bellew and its only a tenner. price, etches, andrew selby plus eubank jnr is worth it.

i havent got sky and sky have ripped everyone off with this ppv shite for too long charging 17 quid a pop for joshua v random bum etc.

i feel like backing itv's new venture, partly because of their history but also because it may help break sky up. who needs to pay for an expensive sports subscription when you just spend a tenner on boxing every once in a while. my master plan ends with football imploding and ticket prices being realistic again. all that for paying for eubank, im having it.

So moving aside from the circus of the PPV fiasco is a Eubank Jr win a foregone conclusion?

Ive never seen Quinlan before but I remember reading Geale got done early recently from an unknown fighter back home, I never knerw it was Quinlan until this fight was made, there's no doubt Geale is finished and showing all the hallmarks of a shot fighter but for Quinlan to KO him in 2 rounds is still a bit impressive considering he's only had 10 fights previous, its quite hard to gauge if he can make the step up or is Daniel just that bad these days?

Like all Eubank Jr fights I expect him to do very little for the 1st round or 2 before started throwing big bombs, mainly uppercuts which will land solid, Jr does have good accuracy and he looks strong but fighters just seem to be able to take his shots clean and stay on their feet despite them looking hard punches, Chudinov, O'Sullivan and Blackwell all took a shellacking without going down and Doran kept getting up last time, Even though Eubank is not a murderous puncher I still think he hits pretty hard and clean, you could just see that by watching, and TBF the fighters I mentioned are pretty durable and Eubank Jr got them out of there one way or another

Its hard to make a prediction without ever having seen Quinlan but Ive gotta go for Eubank Jr by mid to late stoppage, proabably via one the type of shellackings most of his KOs come by

Being that you're on an internet boxing forum where nobody really knows anything much about the opponent, I'd say it was as foregone a conclusion that it could be in a boxing match.

I mean, there's always the chance that Quinlan gets a lucky punch in and knocks him out, or that Eubank takes him too lightly and gets hit whilst posing around, but I don't see it somehow.

After Team Eubank wet themselves when offered a GGG contract, and pulled out of the Tommy Langford fight, they've deliberately found somebody who is as risk free as possible. Especially being that he's on a new PPV platform.

Quinlan isn't being brought in because he's a dangerous opponent, is he?
