It's been three months and there's still no news
Because they do not negotiate via public mediums, never have. They just do their work behind closed doors which I personally find admirable in this age of splashing every thing all over social media.

Nothing to negotiate, he either fights or he doesn't. Agreed on his professionalism, I've never cared about any of that shit.

I get why Joshua would want to know sooner rather than later but he has plenty of time. If it's Wlad then it's a case of repeat as last time, if not, a ten week camp for an early November fight wouldn't start for another month or so. No rush.

Nothing to negotiate? Have you ever seen a boxing fight before? Arena, country, staff, security costs, transport, purse etc etc etc

Usually in an agreed to two fight series all of the important particulars are already in place.

I have a feeling Klitschko will win the rematch should it happen, I think with his experience he will learn and adapt to the Joshua challenge. However, if I am wrong and he loses, how do people think his legacy will be affected by (potentially) finishing his career with three defeats, albeit in world title bouts?

He got more respect from me in the Joshua loss than for his turtle reign

I agree with you, actually, the manner of his defeat and the way he had prepared himself meant far more than predictable, second gear victories over the likes of Pianeta and Wach...

So basically, he's watched IFLTV, much like Boxing News and everyone else reporting.

In a word - Yes.

That always gets me when there's a big fight in Las Vegas and they write " from Jeff Powell in Las Vegas " by the report.

Do the Daily Mail really fly Powell over there or does he write a report from his living room while watching it on the telly ?

Klitschko might fight AJ again, but for now it's just a wishful thinking from Eddie Hearn. I don't believe a sibngle word from Eddie's mouth. Didn't you listen Tom Loeffler's interview? He said Wladimir is still really undecided on the rematch. He might say "yes" and the fight will be on, but I'd like to see on Eddie's face IF he decides to retire. Money-oriented pr1ck will probably mourn for weeks if Wladimir retiers and leaves him without the millions he expects to get from the rematch. It would be priceless :OhYes:

I don't think he'd be that bothered really. Joshua is at the stage now where a fight with someone like Pulev will still do massive money. A fight between Joshua and one of Wilder, Fury or even Haye probably does bigger business than Wlad.

But why then Eddie is trying to make rematch with Klitschko happen so badly as if his life depends on it?

Is he?

I mean, I'm sure he's keen on it, but all he seems to be doing is preparing for both possibilities. He's already mentioned Pulev in Cardiff for example. He certainly doesn't seem desperate.
