I don't know if you're "in the know" regarding Glowacki but he isn't confirmed mate. I heard Usyk has been heavily linked.

And today Marco Huck has been confirmed. After his last fight I'm a bit gutted.
Yeah Glowacki not confirmed but a lot of talk he is in it.

The two I really want in are Usyk and Kudryashov the latter has said he wants in.
Got my wish absolutely buzzing for this.

Ya, I'm not sure if anything else in boxing has ever gotten me this excited. It feels like a too good to be true fantasy...

Unfortunately we can only be optimistic about injuries...

True, I doubt anyone could've predicted it to be this great, its about as close to perfection as it gets and if the Cruisers are true to form, this tournament will finish as intended with no stand ins or replacements

Whats the chances of Ringstar waiting for the Lebedev/Flanagan winner on Monday for fighter No8 TBC?

Brit to be announced for the SMW tomorrow

Hopefully it's Paul Smith and not a letdown like Degale or Callum.

But seriously, if it's not one of the latter two it looks the SMW version is strongly headed toward being an EBU level tournament. Not a horrible thing if it's competitively matched, but certainly not the dream tournament CW is.

While the CW tourney will likely yield a top 5 p4p boxer, the SMW tourney is more of a weeding out process, imo. A number of zero loss records are about to fall, and the victor may end up being a surprise who will be catapulted to the top of the division marketing-wise although a bunch of the most talented SMWs are not involved.

At the level of the participants in the SMW tourney, it could have easily been expanded to a bracket of 16. That said, I am excited about seeing undefeated fighters that I am not completely familiar with putting it on the line.

Callum Smith is the favorite in the Super Middleweight bracket in my mind at the moment, but we'll see how it goes.

It's not as if George Groves is some world beater that can't potentially be upset by some of these lesser known guys in the Tournament.

Skoglund may handle coming down to Super Middle ok, but I don't expect much from Braehmer to be honest.

Would have been nice if Ramirez and Benavidez could have eliminated the need for Skoglund and Braehmer to suck down. The winner of that tournament would also break into the p4p top ten, imo.

Wishful thinking.

If Smith is seeded and Braehmer isn't, they should push for him. Braehmer is an older fighter, coming down in weight and Smith is good to the body.

Three of the seven in the 168 tournament are coming from another division, and untested Cox only has a couple fights there (against nobodies). Some solid talent, but I hope the final guy is a legit top fighter in the division. Is Eubank-AA for a spot confirmed? Abraham does have Sauerland ties, so it would make sense.

168 definitely seems like more of a tournament to help set the top tier, rather than a tournament to decide which already top guy is king.

Seems so but I can see Eubank pulling out of it, if he beat Abraham citing some absolute nonsense reason.

Be risky for the last SMW to come from Eubank vs Abraham, given possible injuries. In terms of alternatives, there aren't many I can think of, Jesse Hart?

Wonder who the seeded fighters will be, getting hype to hear the draw.

Pure fantasy but I think Dmitry Bivol can do super middle fine he looks small for a light heavy.

He would smash all the super middle weights in this tournament IMO

I rate him very highly.
