Floyd needs to up the pace and close the show. It's become a farce.

Mcgregor completely on back foot. Mayweather actually looks poor but can abandon any caution and his instincts and can just come forward and throw

I am not impressed. Expected more from Floyd than just waiting till his undertrained opponent gasses out.

Re: May-Mac RBR
Floyd carried McGregor and took it easy on him. Mayweather was in cruise control throughout the entire duration of a one-sided uncompetitive bout.
Re: May-Mac RBR
Summary of Floyd's career. Took 10 rounds to stop a dead, 0-0 opponent.

Welcome to Floyd Mayweather, I guess?boxing_rocks wrote:I am not impressed. Expected more from Floyd than just waiting till his undertrained opponent gasses out.

When have you seen Mayweather not play it safe? He's always withdrawing from the bank of boxing, never makes a deposit.boxing_rocks wrote:I am not impressed. Expected more from Floyd than just waiting till his undertrained opponent gasses out.

MMA and their 3 and 4 round schoolyard fights......let's remember this and understand the difference between a backyard shindig in a fancy 8 sided chain link fence.....
And the "SWEET SCIENCE".

Re: May-Mac RBR
Conor did exceptionally well in the fight. I thought he won the first 4 rounds. Floyd started to really turn it up in the 7th, and really started working him over in the 9th and 10th.
Floyd stopped him in the 10th.
Conor looked completely out of gas after the 6th or so.

It was making me nervous early I ain't gonna lie, but the "Let him punch himself out" strategy proved fruitful.boxing_rocks wrote:But this time he was fighting a beginner.fistic mystic wrote:When have you seen Mayweather not play it safe? Re: May-Mac RBR
Was it a ref stoppage or what
Re: May-Mac RBR
Floyd looked like sh*t early, but the way he turned it up I think it was the plan. He was banking on Conor getting tired. Risky strategy, but it worked.paddy chavez wrote:Yeah Connor was better than I thought and Floyd had ring rustgilgamesh wrote:Conor did exceptionally well in the fight. Re: May-Mac RBR
Yeah. Ref stopped it. Floyd was teeing off on him, and Conor was utterly exhausted.SFW wrote:Was it a ref stoppage or what
