He could only dream of having footwork and punch variation like Holyfield's. Man you're dumb.
Take your time go to youtube. Watch holyfield at cw and compare it with usyk....& you ll see

They hayemaker could take usyk out imo

Yes usyk is more refine and technically better, but he's open. At cruiser Haye was crazy fast and mega big puncher. Usyk would see the right hand and he'd be in trouble from it imo

Just my opinion

Though figures valmar are too high. I like usyk and I like his speed and workrate for a big guy, but he's not tens for everything

I agree about CW Haye, he was a very, very dangerous....I hope there is still possibility to see Haye-Usyk in 2018 or 2019.

Tua's power can tend to be overrated. Though not as much as his overall ability gets overrated sometimes. Power was the one thing he had that made him a significant fighter. Other than that he was a plodding brawler that was very easy to outbox.

For me the stoppage was a little bit premature...

Huck is a warrior, sometimes you have to save the boxer from himself..he was losing basically every round and was being increasingly dominated by Usyk...the referee just saved his (Huck's) face by waving it off..

Fair enough, Jip. He certainly is an excellent talent. I have Briedis winning the tournament.
:TU:

Breidis is good. Got pop in his punches. Ko d a heavyweight. #2 for me.

Without his power Tua would have been no more than an average HW.

Yes, Tua had the lethal punch power.....

Tomorrow, we will read here that Ali had not been skillful, or that Vitaly had the weak chin, or something about the featherfisted Tyson.

I disagree. I didn't see Huck so much in trouble to stop the fight.

Don't be silly, vitali was feather fisted though. Tia definitely punched much harder than he did

Saad, this is not questionable, at all - Tua was a very powerful puncher. He has to be on the top ten list (punching power, considering boxers active since 2000). I have no doubts about that (like 99 % of boxing fans)........

Have fun making your list. I didn't notice you had since 2000, he might make that. I thought you meant ever. Which is the kind of overrating of his power that has gone on for years. He didn't punch any harder than holyfield.

"Ever" would be really too much... And, he punched harder than Holyfield, definitely....And, Holyfield was much better fighter, generally speaking....
And, I am off topic, again, obviously....

He was a large man fighting inferior opposition. Even though he was an arm puncher it still stings. Not like he was Byrd, just not a puncher. Tia is a puncher, just an overrated one. Wlad had massive power.

I only care about me. No need to quote me over and over to say the same shit. Wouldn't be the first or last time I'm singular in my opinion, and correct. As for the usyk analogy, David hit much harder than him so I'm not sure what you're getting at there. If usyk had tuas lack of skills and speed he'd be Huck. Wilder and Joshua punch harder than tua anyway, so he'd still be the underdog there. He could beat Ortiz without a power upgrade.
