Can't understand channel 5 getting behind Hughie. Have they not watched any of his fights?
What's wrong with them? I enjoyed them.

Surely it's just a decision that's been made on the basis that it's cheap to get the broadcasting rights? After the first round it would do well to do bigger ratings than a PPV featuring a tortoise running 100 meters. The casuals won't want to go near Hughie "Paint Drying" Fury and many will be turned off boxing by the snoozer. It will do far less views than the Klitschko fight. That just under 1m buys so UK viewers would be c.2m, which Hughie won’t get near to tonight. Channel 5 struggle to get over 1m viewers (with the exception of Big Brother) consistently. I think it could - in the sense that terrestrial figures for fights are often dramatically higher than on platforms like Sky and BT, purely because it's free and anyone with a TV has access.
