With a British Ref, Skeete would have been counted out after the 2nd knockdown

In fairness Kerman looked great.
Saying that Skeete waiting in the changing room for like 6 hours, prob warmed up a few times, wouldn't have helped him much.

Interesting to see how far the Spanish dude can go. That win should get him a pretty good ranking with a view to a title shot.

That's the only thing, it's gonna be difficult to get your hands on a strap at 147! Some quality operators there! Best chance would be the winner of Matthysse v Pacquiao!
He'd have to travel for a shot as well and I noticed he's never fought outside Spain. Hopefully he gets a big fight on the back of this win. I'll be keeping an eye out for him.

Kerman is a spanish boxer from the region of The Basque Country and he's the 4th European Champion until now. Everybody expected to win here but not so easy, we thought it was going to be a tought fight. Taking into account the level in the UK with plenty of Champions and that we don't have a good level overall in Spain, it's been a brilliant night.
Kerman is the only boxer who can meet 10000 people in a boxing event in Spain and is being followed around the country, where boxing in bad seen disgracefully.

He might be happy riding with the Euro belt for a while. Some boxers are just satisfied ..

I think it’s a more valued belt in countries like Spain, France, Italy and even Ireland where the domestic scenes wouldn’t be as strong as the U.K.

Perhaps a future opponent for Josh Kelly

Jeez never seen that coming, I thought Skeete would bamboozle Lejarraga comfortably even though i'd never seen him before, he looked strong from the start and his jab had an effect on Skeete, you thought it might not be an easy night for Bradley, the right hand that clipped his chin really hurt Skeete but as Barry Jones said in commentary it was that bodyshot for the second KD that really finished Skeete, the stoppage after was inevitable, Lejarraga looked strong and bull like same as Kiko Martinez

I could see Eddie making the fight . After tonight though, not for another year or so..
Lejeragga has knockouts, he would be seen as dangerous right now..

Where now for Skeete? That loss leaves him in limbo. He's a level above everyone domestically and has won the British title outright. Hard to see what route he takes from here.

Aye that was a shocker mate, I remember Lynes putting Skeete down fairly heavily years ago but Skeete has always done a great job since of not taking clean shots, Lejarraga definitely had his number it looked clear in the 1st round(in hindsight)
As far as Skeete's career is concerned its a tough one, if he'd been with Eddie Hearn then he'd probably had a world title fight by now or at least been 2 years younger before getting exposed at European level like tonight
