i remember the build up to ali vs holmes but not the fight ,the first one i really remember was my brother pat vs paul huggins at the albert hall

I am pretty sure it was on 'Big Fight Live' on ITV it was an undercard fight on a major bill... forgot which one...
Daho's second fight with Cowdell was on Fight Night - as was quite a few of his fights.
NB; Now I have looked it up, the first fight was definitely on Fight Night as I vividly remember watching Kostas Petrou vs Ensley Bingham that was on the undercard.

Remember vividly , i was about 8 ,or 9 , got put in for my first ever spar , the kid clocked me on the nose , the blood flowed , and i burst into tears , i was ok till i seen my own blood , LOL ,

i cant remember if the 1st daho fight was on fight night , it wasnt shown down south the second one was on the mcuigan vs mcdonell bill as chief support.. pat and daho were well matched pat said daho wanted it more in the 2nd fight and that was the difference once pat had won a belt he achieved what e wanted and lost his desire a bit
