I don't have one, and not sure he requires an excuse really. People get knocked down. Wladimir was on the floor versus Puritty too. It's not like losing your title getting KOd by a jab or something. That doesn't happen to anyone, except Herbie Hide.

Hide lost to a prime Riddick Bowe after hurting him. No shame in that at all. Morrison got ripped apart by Michael Bentt and was floored twice by Purrity. Hide had much better form at the time. Morrison's form was awful and somehow you give him a a pass for the Bentt fight. Why is that? Are you a Morrison fan by chance? Do you have a man crush?

Just think Morrison was the harder man and better fighter, and against Hide would employ the focus and discipline of the Foreman performance, rather than throw caution to the wind like he did versus Bentt.

Morrison's last fights in the 2000s were sad to watch. Unfortunately Tommy was broken mentally and went to the denial stuff. He was in a horrible shape in the official fights, while that last unofficial bout was a total joke. Anyway those things doesn't spoil Tommy's legacy, just it's sad, that everything ended this way for him, outside of the ring and inside of it because of the outer reasons.

well that's certainly debatable,
but very early on in his boxing career ,he had described his boxing style as mostly "All Balls & Brawn".
BTW
i don't think that there may be any truth to the rumour that he wanted this as one of the songs to played at his funeral. (?)

He was a top 10 fighter in his prime and if that's not good then I guess very few fighters are good in your eyes.

I dunno about that, he beat Foreman, and Ruddock. He was a massive puncher with fast hands ( people forget about that part ). Drugs and focus outside the ring and a weak chin were his biggest problems.
