Before or after? He was told to re-wrap them I believe with Fieldings team observing and that was done.

All reports are saying he had to re-wrap them. Then the commissioner has obviously given the ok as he is coming out right now.

Fielding looks fairly lanky and maybe a bit frail compared to the thick Canelo. Hope it’s a good fight and fielding gives him a go.

These WBA trinket belts should not be introduced as legit championships if there is a super champ (which there is - Smith)

Body shots are killing fielding. He got dropped rd 1. Standing in front of Canelo having gloves glued to your face is not a good idea. Gets dropped again r2 body shot.

Canelo looked awesome tonight, but Rocky Fielding cleary isn’t an elite-level operator, but regardless... the Mexican looked really sharp tonight.

Alvarez physically looks capable of competing and beating all of the top dogs at 168lbs.

It’s a pity the Mexican is likely to return to 160lbs for his next outing against David Lemieux.

I imagine the game plan before the fight didn't include the knowledge that he simply couldn't take any of Canelo's punches.

You could argue that he should have known that, but if he had known that he really had no business getting in the ring.

Even though Rocky Fielding was overmatched and hand-picked by GBP to lose... and lose spectacularly, the Brit was a much better opponent than Vanes Martirosyan.
