"What you like" again. Edwards is winning @ AM boxing, Rosales @ Pro.
I'll say Edwards on ring-generalship - he's sticking to his gameplan while CR is a little frustrated.
28-30 CE
but wouldn't blame anyone for having 30-27 either way.

Whether he wins or not Edwards is definitely showing that he is indeed much more prepared for this level than he was for the Casimero fight. He's doing well.
I got it even after 4. The 4th was very good for Charlie.

It should never be about "what you like". Judges are paid to make decisions based on clear criteria.

Edwards is pulling away with back-foot boxing for me, but it's close and Rosales is clearly the more powerful.

Yeah, but it's not an exact science is it - do you prefer numerous accurate light punches or a few harder blows ?

Numerous accurate light punches. The odd flash shot shouldn't win a round if the fighter has been outboxed the rest of the round.
If that was the case lighter hitting punchers would be as well hanging up their gloves.

I'm going to give CR a round. Close again, but he seemed to put a dent in CE.

I tend to agree, but US judges don't do they ?

I'm not having a go at you. This "what you like" stuff just encourages shit scoring.
Last time I checked "what you like" wasn't on the list of scoring criteria for judges.

the list of criteria also doesnt really suggest that clearly more light blows should be favoured over fewer heavy ones

Definitely give R the 8th. He landed harder and as often if not more than Edwards.

I got Edwards up 6-3
Rosales has had his moments, but Edwards has had a lot more of him. He's fighting great. If he can keep it up for the last 3 rounds he should have this, but Rosales is gonna be dangerous every step of the way so he can't let up.
