I didn't know josh beat Galahad twice in the Ams. I know it has to bearing to the pros, but it must be in both fighters minds.

That's interesting that he holds couple of wins over Kid.

Dont know why but didnt think Josh had a good AM career. What was Josh AM career like ?

from a quick look he apparently made the senior aba semifinals at 18 and won some national junior titles. ive heard here that he wasnt a good am but he was. just not one of the national squad starlets, plus he turned pro at an early age so didnt have many chances at the bigger am titles

Josh was on the lb 4 lb podcast last week and I was very impressed with him. He comes across as a very humble guy, no ego, and has a great attitude to achieve his goals.

There was a lot to like about him, I wonder why his persona didn't come across like that when he was less well known. I guess maybe because of his casual fan base getting a snobby reaction from boxing fans.

He had massively won me over with his last couple of performances, but even better if can like the boxers you support also.

"We'll announce the date for that fight next week," said Warren recently. "It will be in Leeds and contrary to what everybody says, it will not be pay-per-view, it's for BT subscribers and they will get to see that fight."

Further details — like the full date and official venue — for the clash are set to be made public in the coming days.

And the fact that it's not pay-per-view is music to the ears of the former British, Commonwealth and European champion's promoter Eddie Hearn.

"It's great news [that it's not on pay-per-view]," he said. "Fair play to him. After the purse bid, though, I don't like the look of the accounts on that one, but maybe he has something up his sleeve.

"If [allegedly] can do it as a Saturday night fight night, good luck to him, but it's going to be a good fight and I think they will announce it next week."
