Fury is an elite level fighter when he's in good shape. He did call out Joshua who - to his credit in my eyes - told him "Get fit you fat f*ck then I'll fight you".
When Fury v Wilder 1 was announced I was horrified and furious. I felt we were about to be deprived of a super-fight as a result of Fury being nowhere near ready for him, having taken on two no-hopers in three years. As for Wilder I was just as pissed off about him taking on a very obvious cherry-pick taking the biggest name for the lowest risk. I thought Wilder would destroy him.
I think both thought the other was going to be an easy win. Fury thought Wilder couldn't fight and he'd box his ears off. Wilder thought Fury was done and he'd blast him out.
I have to admit It was a much better fight than I was anticipating. I want to see Wilder v Joshua but Wilder v Fury II is also very appealing. I'm disappointed that it's not happening but I'm happy if that means we get the unification this year.

Agree with all this. I gave Fury absolutely no chance against Wilder, and attributed his win against Klitschko as nothing more than a fluke. I for one will stand back and appreciate Fury's levels.
Any match in the round robin between Joshua, Wilder and Fury in my opinion are all intriguing fights, and all for their own reasons. You could easily have a trilogy of each contest over the next 3-4 years, and it be remembered forever. Unfortunately, I for one would just settle for them to all fight at least once whilst still in their prime.

Anyone wondering about Furys level should watch Fury Chisora 2. And after that give a long hard thinking of who are the other guys in the division who can make Chisora fight look easy?
Will be one short list
Before Wilder vs Fury I said that the Fury who fought Wlad would beat Wilder easily... Nothing in the actual fight were badly faded Fury was mostly teaching Wilder boxing lesson made me rethink my earlier stance

I wouldn't use someone like Chisora as a benchmark. Someone that has lost 9 times in his career.
