Garcia probably landed 1 or 2 good shots each round. Spence was all over him for the 3 minutes though.

It was a good clean boxing match. Ref had to break them up once which was in the later rounds.

Peak Manny Vs Spence would have been a heck of a fight though.

After round 7, it was clear that Garcia can't win and he was just taking meaningless beating. Spence did try to stop him but did that with caution as he had a clear win in his pocket.

Spence always seemed to move a little when Garcia did land. So he was probably cautious of any counter-attack punches.

For sure, but I think Spence would've always been a bit too big and rangy. Manny's workrate and infighting would've made it interesting, though.

What Hatton said about the difference at 147 comes to mind.

Funny thing, I remember Gary Russell Jr. calling Garcia a clown with Broner a few years ago. If only he too the same risks.

That was a clinic. Spence can go on to have some career given the talent around WW and LMW. Hopefully bullshit politics don't get in the way to make great fights like Spence/Crawford!

Why didn't they just stop that garbage fight? That was as one sided as it gets, how many shots did Mikey actually land? It wasn't competetive for 1 second and 1 guy took a needless beating for no reason. Wasn't worth staying up for.
