Not only that but she attended the post fight party. She was a friend of his.

The outrage of the American Gillette Metoo crowd is so funny and pathetic. Soon they'll make it a felony to even look at a girl. If he had kissed a guy on the lips they would have said he was a liberated man and a breath of fresh air in the heavyweight division and a progressive role model!

Anyway, he's gone from obscurity - except for us boxing fans - to fame. Good for him. Go Bulgaria!

People are still attracted to one another in un- romantic settings such as work if we are being honest. Also the girl was probably chosen for her job partly because she is attractive. Thirdly as a person outside of America it is possible he is not familiar with current visibility of our metoo movement. But at some point he thought it was a good idea to bend over for a kiss which, I don't know, we are getting conflicting reports. Officially at least she is upset over the incident, yet she still went to the party? We might hear more about it.

Also apparently she had taken a picture with him earlier so when he says, he was celebrating and thought her his friend, he might have been telling the truth as far as he knew, or hoped it to be. That sense of familiarity may have compelled his action. People in general shouldn't be so quick to rush to judgement when watching these short video clips. You don't know the context.

But arranging the spotty little bits of hearsay we know about the situation (e.g. her 'going to the party') into a narrative that exonerates him is basically rushing to judgment from a different angle.

There are so many possibilities. Perhaps she was offended, and thought of him as a friend both. Just one that needed to be lectured but not torn apart by the reactive public. That is why it is better to err on the side of innocent and finding you are wrong then destroying someone's reputation who doesn't deserve it. I see witch hunt people in society on the left.

Gents, If you DON'T think that is a sexual assault..,
Just imagine a gay man - with the size and presence of Pulev - deciding YOUR lips were so kissable he just couldn't help himself.
Would you think that was acceptable at work ?
I'm not sure that is a reasonable analogy. I've nothing against homosexuals - whatever floats your boat and all that, but for me to feel as repulsed by an unsolicited kiss on the lips by a tall, sweaty, half naked, thirty something female athlete, as I would by the idea of being similar treated by Kubrat Pulev ... well she'd have to be something special and not in a good way

Sorry Kubrat, I'd probably feel differently if I were a woman. He shouldn't have done what he did and I wouldn't have been happy had it been one of my daughters, but nobody died and it's important to keep a little perspective.
This really isn’t that big of a deal - I get that.
He should just apologise, “I’m really sorry - I was pumped after the fight and I was a bit of a crass dickhead”
He’d actually come out looking better than if he’d not done it in the first place. We’d all move on to the next news story..

BUT
Your point there is a bit of a logic-fail.
If this woman and Pulev are crackling with sexual tension for each other - then great. They’re adding to the sum total of human flourishing. it’s only a problem for KP and his wife !

If not - it’s an unwelcome sexual advance from someone with way more power than yourself. That’s why I said Pulev on you. The fact that it would be a gay kiss - and you’re straight - highlights the fact that you REALLY don’t want it.. The fact that it’s Pulev is a famous top 10 HW fighter, highlights that you can’t do F-all about it. It would be unpleasant and scary and you’d just have to try and laugh it off.

That’s the sort of sh1t women have to put up with all the time - and it’s wrong.
Well you're entitled to your opinion (Logic fail) but I assume she's straight if only given that 90% of the population are. Now Kubrat may or may not be her idea of an attractive man, but he might be to many women. My point is that being kissed on the mouth by a big hairy bloke has to be more physically repulsive to a straight man than to any straight woman. If it's a woman doing that to me against my will, it is just not going to compare whether I fancy her or not, and that has nothing whatever to do with my feeling threatened or powerless to do anything about it

I'm not downplaying the lady's feelings you understand, she has a right to feel aggrieved and violated, I'm just saying she is very unlikely to feel nauseated in the same way and for that reason I felt it wasn't a very good analogy.

You’re half right - I must concede that - because
The gayness adds a level of ‘euw’ for any hetero, that simply isn’t there otherwise.
Fair enough.

But, the other half is still logic-fail. You would never feel as physically threatened by an unwanted kiss from a woman as a woman would from a man. You just wouldn’t. And there’s no added mental baggage of rape/patriarchy on top either.
So, I’ll settle for
“Half a logic fail” ?!

Well I could continue to argue (I mean I already conceded that the male / female threat and intimidation aspect is real even if not a factor in this instance in a crowded venue in front of the cameras) but I'll leave it there.

I wouldn't want to be one of those who will keep on until their dying breath in order to prove a point, we've a few of those on here and we probably don't need any more. Half a fail it is then :D

I'm literally feeling sick to my stomach over this. Gloria Allred is a money grabbing elitist who will make hell for Pulev. While I understand he didn't have consent to kiss her, I fear that this is already being overblown and will result in more sickening moves by this reporter and her attorney.
