But if you think about it, I could take out the "baddest man on the planet" with just one gunshot. And there are millions of people with guns, so he's actually like the millionth-baddest.

Not always the most popular. Welter has had a lot of runs.

No doubt. But when the HW division is hot, it helps all of boxing. Casuals love the big boys.

The heavies are no longer a big deal in the US.

That division never has been very important in the cradle of boxing, Mexico, where eyeballs are only on bantamweights through welter.

Canelo being the bigger exception.

Yeah, the most important or most popular division definitely varies by who you ask.

How about rephrasing the question this way: How many weight classes would you have to shift female fighters in order for them to compete against males? For example, female heavyweights would beat up male strawweights, right?

SenorPipino wrote: 21 Apr 2019, 14:43 I don't think so. She could beat half the male pros at arm wrestling.

And plenty girl wrestlers are now on boy's teams at schools and are winning bouts with regularity.

Guys will often forfeit so they aren't embarrassed by a girl.

Men are generally always going to be stronger than females of a similar weight.

But strength isn't always a determining factor in athletic contests.

Talent takes priority.
There's no way Serena beats any guy in the top 1000. Maybe someone with good technical strokes like Bencic or Kerber could do something vs a top 1000 guy, but not the likes of Serena or Pliskova who's game is based on physicality. You probably don't realise that women use lighter balls either do you? If a male pro used they balls they would be serving crazy speeds, 160mph+. Or if the women used the male balls they'd just be far too slow and they'd get demolished.

There are 2000 professional male fighters ate lightweight (135lb). You honestly think Katey Taylor beats any of them??

anyone remember that McEnroe quote that caused outrage a few years ago? He was asked if Serena Williams was the greatest tennis player of all time, and he said 'She's certainly the best female tennis player of all time'. Then the retarded interviewer said 'Why not just greatest player, why just female?' And John replied, because she wouldn't be top 800 on the men's tour.

He was just telling the truth, and he got eviscerated for it!

Meanwhile, the guy ranked 800th was like 'Uhh, I'd like to think I wouldn't lose to Serena' on Twitter

I kept asking the same simple question, but you kept avoiding answering it, because you knew the most accurate response undermined you own theory.

You're frustrated because I didn't let you off the hook. I kept asking the same question time and time again.

Apologies. You supported someone who made a claim that they were unable to defend, but you made no attempt to either.

Am I wrong?

Yes, quite wrong. I made not a single comment on anything to do with that argument.

If it’s the same/similar weight class then nope. Not a chance. Brutal beat down.

he was at 76,5kg/168,5lbs in that fight but he fought at MW too. he was 8(2)-8(2)-1 in that fight, and still he would destroy Shields, probably in round 1.

There are some guys who are "Professionals" but are essentially just paid losers. I don't doubt that maybe chicks could beat some of those guys, but only if they showed up, and gave an insincere effort as they usually do.
