It was impressive he was able to go 12 while keeping up a good workrate against a solid pro, but I think he'll ultimately top out at the Chisora level, just outside serious world-level contendership.
Sums it up perfectly.

It was Joyce best performance based on he beat a decent fighter.

He just can't beat anything much better based on that so needs to get better. At 32 it is probably not going to happen.

Dubois will knock him out.

Dereck Chisora fight tomorrow would be razor close.

After 2 pro fights, no one wanted to fight it because he was a pro novice and no one wants a loss against that.

you are right, anyone in the top 10 would knock him out with ease. someone like Ruiz or Kownacki would make marmelade out of him.
I wouldn't go that far. Joyce didn't disprove his toughness in this fight. He just showed his flaws. And Jennings isn't crap either.
Well said Oogie. A welcome injection of perspective.

Neither of these guys are potential champions, neither are they rubbish. People slate fighters for their flaws like few others have flaws.

You'd still struggle to pick twenty fighters who would be favoured to beat them, and most would have said Ruiz wasn't a potential champion either.

I don't think Jennings was such a surprise. The people who thought he was gonna get blasted outta there early were always being a little ridiculous. He's been a solid pro for years and he's always in good shape.
Fair enough. Then I overestimated Joyce.

Any chance they'll go with Joyce vs. Chisora next, assuming Chisora beats Szpilika? Gerald Washington would be a decent option too after his KO of Helenius.

All different promotions so I doubt it.

Frank needs to get his cheque book out and hope the WBA or EBU will help force something for Joyce.
My hope is Joyce vs Kabayel for Euro title. :TU:
