For some reason you really don't like Golovkin, and want to cut him down as if he's never accomplished anything. I don't know what your beef is with him, but it's ridiculous.
Nobody ever said he was the greatest Middleweight of all time, but he ain't just some bum either.
And can you also count to ten?
If so, I’ll try and keep things simple for you, by focussing on just one the incorrect claims.
The following fighters were rated above Curtis Stevens by The RING during 2013:
1) Sergio Martinez
2) Gennady Golovkin
3) Darren Barker
4) Daniel Geale
5) Felix Sturm
6) Peter Quillin
7) Martin Murray
8) Matthew Macklin
9) Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam
10) Marco Antonio Rubio
Here’s a hyperlink of the archived web page of The RING’s middleweight rankings extracted on the 15th October 2013, with GGG fighting Curtis Stevens on the 2nd November 2013.
Therefore, how on earth can Curtis Stevens possibly be considered by The RING as a top-ten world-rated middleweight when GGG fought him, when they believed that ten fighters were better than him?
Most of Apollo Creed’s ratings are wrong, either because he simply made a mistake, or he forget to consider The RING champion.
I bet you feel rather silly now, because the person you apparently despise has once gain proven you wrong. And it just keeps happening over-and-over again! It must really frustrate you!!!![]()

Anyway, you adamantly claimed that I was wishing something was true, when in fact I simply cited reality, which I backed up with evidence.
Do you care to retract your derogatory claims about me?
Re: Gennady Golovkin vs. Jaime Munguia - TBA
Not retracting anything. You're wrong.
Sergio Martinez was the Champion, therefore Curtis Stevens was in fact ranked 10.
Deal with it.
I have a life. I don't feel the need to write books, and spend hours and hours of research to try to win an internet argument. I was alive at the time, and Following the sport, and I know who was who and what was what.
Your next novel ain't gonna change that.

So Golovkin wanting to keep his IBF belt meant he had to defend against Kamil, correct? and you said GGG;s team pushed the mando forward? That's not a bad thing is it? I've seen that happen before, he just got the mando out of the way before it was called on him.. That not true?
And Tom Loeffler told the media they were planning to lobby the IBF to instate him as GGG’s mandatory challenger, because they wanted Golovkin to have the freedom of choice to pick-and-choose future opponents.
And we also know for sure that Team GGG previously tried, but failed, to make the Szeremeta fight before the Polish fighter became the IBF’s mandatory.
And excluding Canelo, what top-five (ESPN, The RING and TBRB) world-rated opponents has GGG faced since March 2017?
I just think it’s time for GGG to prove he still has it by fighting an elite-level opponent.
He needs to prove he’s worthy of the praise, hype and admiration.

Hitting GGG without getting hit is the problem for everyone.
I hope Mung vs GGG happens.
All but certain to be a fun fight, a fight GGG will win by stoppage and would be one of his best wins.
Munguia is sgnificantly younger(14 years)undefeated and a former title holder who vacated his belt to move up a division.
Beating that guy is a big win on the resume of any veteran boxer.
Somebody will try to say Munguia is just another blown up super welter. I'm not sold on that........ I think Munguia is a young man who grew out of that division and is a legit middleweight.
Along with that GGG is past his best but not a spent bullet. There is a difference.
Youngster on the rise vs aging vet: almost always an interesting match up.
It would be an action-packed fight for sure. Munguia is a big young top 10 Ring Magazine mw. Very entertaining fight.

He did actually. Not officially, but I saw the fights, and he won 'em both. The 1st one clear. The 2nd one was at least debatable.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑30 Dec 2020, 11:10He didn't beat Canelo.
Don't think we were discussing Top 10 opponents he'd beat anyway, just ones he'd faced.
When I know what I saw, it doesn't really matter to me what the official judges said. I trust my own eyes and knowledge of the sport more than obviously corruptible judges. Just like I'll die knowing Jose Luis Castillo beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. Just like I'll die knowing Tyson Cave beat Oscar Escandon. Just like I'll die knowing Emanuel Augustus beat Courtney Burton in their first fight.
My eyes saw the truth. My brain understands it. It's been proven time and time again that judges can easily be corrupted and often are.

Sergio Gabriel Martinez, Champion
Gennady Golovkin
Felix Sturm
Daniel Geale
Peter Quillin
Darren Barker

Golovkin fought Stevens in 2013. But it's not about only one fighter here. Let's not forget that Golovkin fought better rated opponents by Ring Magazine as I posted before. Facts!:TU:
