I recognized it as well. But his style was so irritating to me. Safety first. I find Loma better at utilizing his defense while being offensive. I also find his speed and footwork to trump Floyds. When did Floyd make an opponent quit on his stool? Loma accomplished this 4x in a row within an 11 fight pro career up to that point.

Lomachenko won't have a long enough career to overtake Floyd's achievement, but he is going to have one hell of a highlight reel.

in the end i couldn't care less about floyd and he sure is a nice guy to his family & friends but the public image he has been & is protruding just always made me laugh at best. what a moron.

I guess that's fair although I think Floyd was well ahead of those guys at the time and already had multiple wins better than Loma's best so far.
I really do think Loma has ATG potential but the state of modern boxing promotion has held him back significantly and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
