Schooled? Really? Calzaghe schooled Lacy. Tyson done the business but it was a close fight, nobody was taken to school.
Tyson schooled Del Boy in their rematch.

Imagine what Mike Tyson Evander Holyfield Lennox Lewis Riddick Bowe wlad klit or Deontay Wilder woukd of done to Wallin? He wouldnt of seen the midway point of the fight. Fury is good but he made hard work of this fight,very hard work.

Just watched on YT to see Wallin give TF all he could handle and completely rip up the script for this fight, shades of Buster Douglas as Wallin was fighting for his recently deceased father but fortunately TF wasn't as unfit as Mike Tyson was in Tokyo. I thought early on that TF's timing was off and his punches lacked the snap that he had against Wilder. It doesn't matter: he will be right up for the Wilder rematch and won't be fighting like this that night. I hope TF is right about this hard 12 rounds being just what he needed.

Fury had a poor performance and still won. Every fighter has had an underperming night. I can't stand Fury, but I don't make much of this regarding him being less than we thought of him before.

Great? Nope, they were both dreadful. He didn't win, he lost the least. Schooled - nope.

Fury looked like he was 280, not 254.

I don't think Fury loses much stock either. We boxing fans sometimes don't want to admit we were, wrong, but Ruiz and Wallin are better than we thought they were.

Fury ‘schooling’ Wlad is one of those myths that just won’t die on here Anyone who was unfortunate enough to actually see the ‘fight’ knows what really happened. Fury was - barely - the rightful winner, but the fight itself was pitiful.

Nasty cut is that, thats going to cause him issues in fights.

Anyone think it's worse than Vitali's? On first look I think it could be.

He actually deserves praise for fighting with that, it looks horrific. Doubt he'll get it tho. The people who lauded vitali's bravery with have different standards when it's fury.

You've got to have different standards when you're comparing Otto Wallin and one of the top 10 heavies of all time Lennox Lewis.

Fury didn't flap too much with a bad cut against a reasonable fighter. Fair play to him for that.

I think they are very similar. Search pictures and you'll see that.

I thought it was a gutsy performance with a very bad cut from early in the fight against a challenger who turned out to be a lot tougher and more skillful than expected. Yes, Fury didn't look as sharp as usual, but he was still clearly on top, threw 650+ punches and - barring the cut - had all the highlight moments. Wallin's a good addition to the HW scene.

That cut is going to take some fixing, can't see the Wilder fight taking place in February now

I think Fury is lacking motivation. He's said before that he needs a challenge to stay focused, I reckon this deal, which is changing the lives of his team financially, is actually doing his desire a huge harm.

I agree. There's a risk he might fall into bad ways again if he doesn't feel motivated.

That one big cut may be worse than all of Vitali's but Vitali had about 5 or 6 cuts from memory.

Absolutely nasty cut, much worse looking than many that have stopped fights. I actually think Fury did very well not to be more bothered by it

And it happened in round 3!

havent watched it yet but it looks like otto gave him more of a fight than anyone expected.

Those cuts will take time to heal up enough to even spar so I cant see him going in against wilder til summer 2020 ..

This is the correct analysis .

If the eye is not given time to heal properly it might open up every fight.
He did well not to get stopped with it .
His fighting spirit will never be doubted that's for sure .
