If Holmes read this he would go out saying he would whoop everyone. At least he boosted that he could hanging there with the current top guys at his current age in a article from boxing-scene... haha! I do love that guy, being in Ali's huge shadow couldn't be anything then horrible.

Would Holmes have a shot at Ali if both guy where in their prime? A tough and brutal fight is anything but a given. Ali might do Ali and get the decision in the end. After 15 rounds of hell.

I've already said Ronny J was Kalan.

Too much similarity in their over the top ideas
I am not kalan and i dont know who he is.

It doesnt take rocket scientest to understand that height weight reach give someone huge advantage in a fight. If it wouldnt be like this, than holyfield, tyson, tua, peter and povetkin would have ruled the heavyweight division in the last 20 years and not the tall lewis, vitaly k., wladimir k., joshua, fury, wilder.

Doesnt it make sense to you?
So what are your thoughts on Wilt Chamberlain as a boxer

Beat him in the amateurs and than bowe wanted no fight in the pros. Case closed.

To have a body for boxing is not just your height and weight. You need to be build strong. On top you need a chin and the motoric ability to throw a punch. All this has 0 to do with height. Since you can be 7'2 tall, but have a weak body or not the motoric necessary to throw a punch, or the motoric ability to move inside the ring.

Chamberlain was no boxer and didnt have what it takes to be one. Natural very tall skinny kid. His body would have not been able to survive body punches from liston, frazier. He didnt have the footwork needed for boxing and wouldve been schooled by ali. He just was no boxer. No chance.

Height and reach do matter when you are build strong and are talented for boxing.

Ronny J, following a 73 page epic thread about someone who was not a boxer NOT having a fight with Muhammad Ali, there are now two Golden Rules of Boxrec:-

1 - You do not talk about Wilt Chamberlain

2 - You do NOT talk about Wilt Chamberlain :shame:

If those guys did a round robin i think nobody would be unbeaten, but Lewis would come away with the most wins.

Yes I think you’re right. Even the most awkward customer in Tyson Fury, I think Lewis would have bulldozed through in much the same way he treated Henry Akinwande.

Well I guess it is that time again

Here is a little clip for you...

Cunningham is pretty much exactly the same size as Ali was...

That size difference does matter when the bigger guy can just smother you and foul your lights out :KO:

Ali just too small.

I get lewis as the hw to beat all. He was tall, he had the skills, an atg jab and on top he had 1 punch KO power. So lewis makes sense. He could handle taller opponents like klitschko, he had more skills than wilder & joshua combined and smaller hw would eat uppercuts all day. He was the total package.

Ali makes no sense. He had so much trouble with tall strong physical opponents like norton and somebody like joshua would make norton look small.

Lamon Brewster is 6 foot 2
Andy ruiz is 6 foot even
Chris byrd is 6 foot even
Rahman is 6 foot 2
Oliver McCall is 6 foot 2

All these guys have won belts in the huge hw era. I dont think its unreasonable to think one of the greatest ever standing at 6 foot 3 could beat guys like klitscko or wilder or lennox lewis.

Andy ruiz handspeed killed joshua. Call me crazy but ali had faster hands in his prime, faster feet, and an atg chin and stamina

none of them ruled the hw division. you know what ruling a division means. it means you are #1 in the division and you reign for a long period of time. lewis, klitschkos, joshua, they all ruled the division. none of the smaller boxer ruled the division. they became champions (now how many champion titles do we got 4 or 5  ), they had lucky nights upsets, but none ruled the divison. the last smaller hw who ruled the division was tyson and that was 30 years ago. holyfield wanted to rule the division and met tall bowe and tall lewis and realised he was not the best hw in the world.

Joshua never ruled the division. There wasn't one year when he was obviously and without doubt the best heavyweight.

he was very dominant and considered #1 for 2 years. he did many attemps to fight wilder, but wilder only ran his mouth and wanted no part of joshua. tyical for usa boxers, they talk a lot and than pu$/)y out. wilder lied about a 50 million offer, a offer which hearn never received. as dumb as wilder his maybe he cant send an email.

but you are right being considered #1 of a division for 2 years is not ruling, ruling is for a longer period of time, i would say it starts with 4 or 5 years. that is very dominant when you clean out the division you are in and considered the 1

what do you mean by your first sentence?

to be honest i cant understand your seconde sentence either, is english your first language?

i assume you mean alis skills surpass the skills of the super heavyweights i mentioned, right?
well, yes ali has better skills than all super heavyweights, i aggree. but skills alone dont make it. if skills alone make it, than ali wouldve easily beat foreman and norton, he was superior to them on the skill level. but he struggled cause these guys were very big very strong. klitschkos, joshua and lewis are even more bigger and stronger than foreman or norton. thats all i am saying.
