david nyika debuting on this card, might be one to watch. one of nz's best ever ams and a 6'6 cruiser with the frame to move to hw

Fa looks like he could be Parker's little brother.

Yeah. In to round 9 now. Very scrappy, not much clean work, falling in to clinches after a few punches (mainly Fa tying up but Parker smothering his own work).
Typucal Parker performance, falling into a lull in the middle rounds allowing Fa to sneak them with tge odd jab or right. Parker needs a bit more devil to his work and seems to be trying to do a bit more in the later rounds.
Fa not showing much but looks a very awkward opponent to get through against.

Those Scorecards were terrible. I had it 6-5-1 Fa.

115 - 113 for Parker, IMO; it was a clinch fest with nothing particular, and both guys threw it away. Could have gone both ways.

It sounds like this'll do a lot more for Fa's reputation / status, than for Parker's.

To be fair there wasnt a single round on the fight scores website that noone though parker won. It was a close fight, but you could give Parker basically every round. You could also give Fa up to 9ish rounds i think. Just a close messy fight. Still think its unlikely for a fair judge to come to 119-109, but there is not real round inparticular that he/she truely fucked up.

I don't believe Parker fights to his maximum potential.

Kevin Barry said Parker is punching harder since his surgery, but what use is that if you're fighting the same in the ring.

Chsiora will end up bullying him in the ring just like Whyte did.

The Ahio/Long fight was quite entertaining.

Julius wasn't just there for the payday, that's for sure.

He made Ahio really work for the victory.

I think Long's corner let him down though.

You could see Long flagging for a good while before he was flattened: His corner should have thrown in the towel well before Julius got flattened.

I expected more from Parker as I see him as a solid second tier HW, but he was easily nullified by Fa, who, if he had been awarded the decision, I would not have complained.

It's going to be interesting to see how Parker goes forward from here.

Too wide of a scorecard to be realistic.

Parker is ok. He was lucky to get a belt just like charles martin was lucky to get one ( though parker is much more polished than martin)

He doeant have a high gear. He jabs well enough and is competent all around but he he doesnt have "it"

So what's the explanation? It was a crooked card? Surely they'd be less blatent about it if it was some kind of corruption.
But that theory is equally as likely as someone legitimately scoring it in that manner who the f!%k knows!
