Good fight so far. Calic is decent. I’ve got it 2-2 after 4.

I had Calic winning the 5th until the last 15 seconds where Buatsi caught him and finished strong.

Really good fight. If Buatsi wins then it will be a great learning fight for him. He’s being hit too clean and looks a lot smaller.

Don't ask me how but I managed to bet on Buatsi round 7 before the fight.

Needless to say part way through the fight I wasn't so sure it would come in....

Buatsi puts him down R7 with sustained power shots on the ropes. Calic gets up and looks like he wants to go to his corner. Gets up, Buatsi puts pressure on, corner stops it. No argument from Calic. Halling bemused.

Not sure why the corner stopped it so quickly but really good learning fight for Buatsi. It’s good to see him fight someone with ambition and will help him fighting with adversity with his eye swelling.

Reminded me a little of when Haye fought Fragomeni - he’ll learn loads from this.

Disappointing end to a decent fight. Calic didn't look convincing when he turned southpaw somehow and was in trouble from a right hand almost straight away.

Maybe had his heart broken too

To me it looked like Calic had injured his left eye when the big right landed end of R5 - it swelled up very quickly in the corner around the eyesocket. He went negative after that for the most part. Maybe they didn't want to risk it once he ran out of gas.
