Pro boxing is all about money, the bloke the crowd chose to win would invariably be the money maker. Away fighters would have to make sure they knocked the other bloke out.

Way too many fans haven't a clue what their talking about.

Years ago I was at Nathan Cleverly's title defence against Robin Krasniqi and was unfortunately sat near a few of Paul Butler's supporters who'd hung around for the main event.

Cleverly won the fight fair and square.

When the decision was announced one of Butler's supporters said "no way was that a unanimous decision"

Not an 'effing clue !

They would only need to cheer for who they thought won, you literally cannot get that wrong.

I heard on Talksport (Simon Jordan I think) that Robert Smith is stepping down / retiring in November. Anyone know if this is the case? It might be old news for all I know.

When Robert smith does retire it will be on a very good pension all paid for by license holders and the new general secretary will be Dennis gilmartin so it will be much of the same
