Or not ? Or he did, but he'll be back to his old self next fight - beating DG like that is one hell of a tune up ?
seemed like normal spence to me
Maybe a bit of rust, but no difference really.
I thought he coasted from the 10th.
Maybe acceptable considering the layoff and the fact he’d pretty much wrapped it up, but..,

I’m raising $150k US to bet Bud @ evens with Jo Diaz !

Spence claimed he gassed in the 8th round, which is why he coasted later in the fight and didn't push for a stoppage. It was pretty clear to me Spence isn't 100% yet. He still has his skills, which we're on full display, but apparently his conditioning wasn't up to par. Spence generally picks the pace up considerably as a fight progresses, he just didn't have it in the tank last night.

Hopefully it's a issue from being sidelined for so long and something he can work out. I really hope it's not due to him out growing the division and it's taking too much out of him to make the weight. I thought Spence looked a bit drained and didn't look to put on much weight after the weigh in. He just didn't look as physically strong to me and just a little off physically.

He does cut a huge amount of weight. Too much imo. He'll need to fire on all cylinders for 12 to beat Crawford. If he does he'll beat Bud.

Pathetic performance by Garcia.Despite Spence not looking as good as usual, Garcia could only win about 2 rounds lol and seemed happy just to last the distance. Garcia didnt get his hands go. No winning mentality, just happy to pick up a pay cheque.

1 pace, No drama sparring session to make big easy money between them.
Spence did great with coming back from adversity but over 36 minutes, didn't look world class either.
Exactly. Awful fight.

Yeh, Spence landed more punches against Mikey and Porter than he did with Danny.

He literally jabbed his way to a win.

Seems like Danny only wins rounds against elite boxers when they take a round or 2 off.

Mark my words, he’ll have another 1 or 2 Redkach type fights then be on line for another world title shot.

He’s never really earned his world title fights at 147 has he?

Yep. Hes one of the most overrated in the sport imo
He cherry picks past it usa names like Rios and Guerrero or weak smaller fighters like Redkach. Then occasionally steps up and gets beat, plus sometimes struggles /gets gifts in his cherry picks lol. All he really has is a solid granite chin. No hes done nothing at 147.
