Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Kelly vs. David Avanesyan - 20 February 2021
Cracker of a fight here with lots to analyse, meanwhile Adam Smith is telling everyone what a popular guy Brian Rose is

Frig me. 2 warnings for the back of the head in a round, having already been heavily warned.
Jesus wept. Shades of Terry O’Connors performance in Danny Williams v Matt Skelton 1 here,

Warning for behind the head, warning for holding and hitting, then a like 10 second last chance behind the head warning... all in 1 round. other guy, just pinged a point strait up.

Macklin saying it’s even to set up the famous ‘he needed the last round to win it’ bollocks.

Like with Warrington I think Davies may have got concussed badly early. Maybe by that shot that should have been a knockdown where the ropes held him up.

Fix will be in, no doubt. No way RDJ won that.

Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Kelly vs. David Avanesyan - 20 February 2021
I had it even but scored 2 round 10 all and most of the rounds I had Davies winning were tight whilst the Mexican clearly won his.
Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Kelly vs. David Avanesyan - 20 February 2021
As long as RDJ doesn't win 119-108
Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Kelly vs. David Avanesyan - 20 February 2021
The point deduction was harsh, but the Mexican spent the whole fight dipping as low as RDJ's waist, turning to his right in the clinch, then moaning that he got hit in the back of the head. What did he expect, the other guy to stop throwing?gregregegg wrote: ↑20 Feb 2021, 17:15Warning for behind the head, warning for holding and hitting, then a like 10 second last chance behind the head warning... all in 1 round. other guy, just pinged a point strait up.
Valenzuela by 4 for me.
By 3, even. I can't add up.

Judging by those scores the late flurry in the 12th won it.
