I was going to say, I've never seen this Boglin fella fight and assumed he was a soft touch, but some people seem to rate him as a decent opponent. He's rubbish is he?

i dont mind him as a comeback opponent, he was even with pulev into the 7th round and cut him badly, won the first 2 vs miller. only lost to top 10 contenders, which dub isnt tbf

About how I expect it to go. I expect Dubois to control it for 3 or 4 rounds, winning all the rounds with the minimum of fuss and then land a big shot, stun him and not let him off the hook.

Iv said this befor but think dinu gets treated a bit harshly and is a very credible opponent for a prospect coming of a loss and injury.

Miller got him with a good shot to the temple, put him down again soon after, and dinu didn’t get up, that was weak yes, but honestly it wasn’t much different to AJs quit vs Ruiz. and aj is still pretty respected. And it was vs a similar levle opponent (at least viewed that way going into it) with a helll of a lot less on the line.

He was competitive with pulev till the 7th where I think he should of won by dq, not a popular opinion but I stand by it. Pulev was aiming punches down at the back of the head and luckily missed a few times and the got him back of the head while down, intentional foul for me and I don’t think dinu should be expected to continue compromised after it, 1 point hardly offsets getting your brain rattled with 5 rounds to go... he continued which he shouldn’t have, then felt he got clipped behind the head again and went down again (probably looking for a dq win, but who can blaim him if he is still shaken from a clear intentional and serious foul)...

TOMMY FURY WILL take on the unbeaten Scot Jordan Grant as he bids to clock up half a dozen wins in the professional ranks at the Telford International Arena on Saturday, live on BT Sport.

The 23-year-old Hamilton man, known as 'The Game', holds a current record of 2-0, having turned professional in November 2019. 'TNT' Fury, 22, has scored four speedy knockout victories in his five pro fights to date.

Fury v Grant is part of the supporting cast to the main event of Daniel Dubois (15-1, 4 KOs) colliding with the Romanian Bogdan Dinu (20-2, 16 KOs) with the WBA Interim heavyweight title belt on the line.

Unfortunately, Marcio Soza - Archie Sharp's scheduled opponent for his WBO Global super featherweight title fight - tested positive for Covid-19 and the fight will be re-booked for a July date.

Elsewhere on the card, Nathan Heaney (11-0, 5KOs) will have the backing of some 600 fans from Stoke when he battles for a dozen wins as a pro against the Bulgarian Iliyan Markov (6-14-2, 3 KOs) in his second event as a Queensberry middleweight.

Also at 160lbs, Caoimhin Agyarko (8-0, 5 KOs) from Belfast will continue to pick up experience as he moves towards title contention with an eight-rounder against the Mexican Ernesto Olvera (11-6-1, 3 KOs).

I’ve seen Grant fight in the EFL before turning pro. He won some/lost some but he’ll try to win which I’ll take given Fury’s recent opposition. An extra few weeks notice would have helped so not sure what kind of shape he’ll be in.

I like Frank and he's been brilliant for British boxing but he's becoming yesterday's man unfortunately. One poor card a month if we're lucky at the minute. Just doesn't have the money or media profile to keep up anymore.

I’m surprised that BT are happy with it to be honest. One show across 2 calendar months that are usually (May in particular) busy boxing months. He’s got a lot of fighters too who must be wanting to get out and be active.

I wonder if all is good in the FW/Arum relationship. They’ve co-promoted Fury poorly with his inactivity and the AJ mess, BT didn’t show the Taylor fight or Frampton’s world title fight and ESPN are no longer showing FW’s shows.

Hopefully Sky do an output deal with Bob so we don’t have to pay Fite every time a decent Top Rank show happens.

Yeah - strange matchmaking for Heaney. Clearly he still has lots to learn but he shouldn’t drop down 3 levels after his last fight/win. Makes no sense at all and is one of my big bugbears with boxing.

I’ve said it before but FW should be using this time as an opportunity to establish himself as a legitimate competitor to Matchroom but one show, which is really poor, in 2 months doesn’t help that one bit.
